| In the framework of our summary of the current knowledge on the widespread edible Triglids, we studied the vertebral formula of each of the five considered species. Thus, we counted the vertebrae of: Trigla Lyra-[LinnJ: from the Atlantic Ocean: Grande Sole and Labadie banks. Trigla Corax-[Bonap]: from the English Channel. | For a few years, the global stock of oysters from natural deposits has stayed constant in the oyster rivers of the Morbihan. In 1928, there was an average, per 100 sq. meters, of 190 oysters on the deposits of the Auray River (Sainte Avoye, Marie, Plessis, Rosnarho, Loqueltas, Rohello, Ours), and of 2 oysters on those of the Trinité River (Saint-Jean, Lac, Pierre-Jaune, Réserve, Cuhan). In October 1929, the density of the deposit was of 175 in the first river and of 2 in the second. |

| The study of oyster reproduction in Morbihan, started in 1921 under the authority of the Marine Fisheries Office, has continued regularly every year at the oyster station of Auray. We know that, following a terrible crisis which pointed to the complete extinction of the flat oyster, the situation of the Morbihan oyster culture has greatly improved. Since 1927, we have monitored an increase in the amount of spat fixed on the collectors, leading us to hope for a return to the previously enjoyed prosperity. |

| We have been instructed to continue in May-June-July 1926, on board the tuna boat Hébé, our research on the biology of the albacore, and to monitor some drift-net fishing trials. The explored area was the Bay of Biscay, off-shore Spain and Portugal, the Madeira and Canaries area. In the southern part of this area, the albacore cruises between 200 and 300 metres deep at this time of the year: we did not attempt at net-fishing there. Our trials were conducted 120 miles west of the Berlingues and 180 miles west of the Cap Finisterre. |

| This year, the observations of the spat production were carried out in a more rational way and according to the agenda we had established. They were made easier by the A.O.B.A. which lent us its new pinnace, equipped with an Ostrea, thus enabling us to go out to sea about twenty times between May 11th and August 9th, and to carry out 71 dredgings in the different fair-ways of the Basin. Moreover, the temperatures were taken at the Eyrac station, following the same method as described last year. The average water density was also monitored on a daily basis over this period. | La variété des produits conservés, la complexité de leur nature du point de vue chimique, l'action propre des ingrédients qui les accompagnent, rendent la question de la corrosion des boîtes de conserves extrêmement difficile. De nombreux spécialistes, particulièrement en Amérique, ont examiné de très près les différentes sortes de corrosion que présentent les boites de conserves et se sont surtout attachés à celles qui provoquent, à bref délai, la perforation des boîtes. Leur but était de pouvoir établir des spécifications quant aux fers-blancs utilisés à la fabrication des boîtes de conserves.
