| Avaliou-se o balanço de nitrogênio em ovinos alimentados com silagem de milho grão triturado e reidratado, contendo diferentes níveis de glicerina bruta, em substituição ao milho do concentrado da dieta. Foram utilizados 10 ovinos com peso vivo de 25 ± 4 kg, distribuídos em dois quadrados latinos 5x5. As dietas continham relação V:C de 400:600 g/kg, totalizando cinco tratamentos: dieta controle e dietas contendo concentrado com silagem de milho grão triturado e reidratado com diferentes níveis de glicerina bruta, a fim de manter o teor de umidade em 32,5%, conferindo a adição de (0; 75; 150 e 225 g/kg) de glicerina bruta na matéria natural. | In the central-west region of Brazil, the seasonal distribution of rainfall generates an imbalance in the production of fodder. Moreover, during the dry period, the nutritive value of the fodder decays, due to the advance in the maturation of the plants. | O Brasil é o país que possui o maior rebanho de bovinos do mundo possuindo 214,69 milhões de cabeças, sendo o maior exportador e o segundo maior produtor de carne bovina, deste total a maior parte dos bovinos produzidos são criados em sistema de pastejo (ABIEC, 2019). As forrageiras são então a base da alimentação bovina e capazes de fornecer energia com menor custo. | Effects of high intake supplementation containing different additives on ruminal ammonia nitrogen (RAN) concentration and pH were evaluated in Nelore bulls grazing during dry season. Four Nelore bulls (425 ± 79.3 kg body weight, BW) fitted with ruminal cannula were studied in a 4 × 4 balanced Latin square design.
