Economic And Physical Measures of Efficiency: the Case of the Gulf of Mexico Grouper Fishery AgEcon
Diop, Hamady; Keithly, Walter R., Jr.; Kazmierczak, Richard F., Jr.; Diagne, Assane.

The longliners vessel efficiency is increasing over time and crew size and effort are positively correlated with efficiency. The vertical liners efficiencies are also positively associated with crew size as the vessels become specialized in grouper targeting.
