A cultura do feijoeiro tem uma grande importância econômica para o Brasil, maior produtor e consumidor mundial dessa leguminosa. Porém, a produção brasileira do feijão é afetada principalmente por dois patógenos (Pseudocercospora griseola e Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. Phaseoli), necessitando pesquisas voltadas a qualidade de sementes, utilizando extratos no controle de doenças. In order to seek new measures to protect plants against diseases, alternative agriculture through the use of medicinal plants has been much studied. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of rosemary extract, cloves, cinnamon, garlic and guaco, under different sterilization methods (water bath at 65 ºC for 1 hour, water bath at 85 ºC for 1 hour; Autoclaving at 110 ° C for 20 minutes and autoclaving at 120 ° C for 20 minutes) in the mycelial growth of M. phaseolina. The Mycosphaerella spot is one of the main foliar diseases of strawberry, degrating great leaf regions and reducing the photosynthetic area. Its control is mainly by the use of chemical fungicides, but, due the increasing demand for food free of pesticide, alternative control methods have been researched, such as biological control. Curcuma spp. (turmeric) has been used since ancient days in popular medicine and gastronomy. Many of its bioactive compounds have just recently been identified and characterized as potential source of new medicines. In this review will relate aspects of cultivated turmeric (Curcuma longa L.), including taxonomy, chemical composition, production and processing, and biological activities such as the action against fungi, bacteria, nematodes, protozoa and viruses, including those of importance for human health, agriculture and food science.

Thus, it is necessary the search for new plant diseases control technology. The objective of this study was to evaluate the in vitro antimicrobial activity against Alternaria solani and Xanthomonas vesicatoria and the control of early blight and bacterial spot on tomato plants, using stable formulation, as soluble powder, from Pycnoporus sanguineus. - Female root-knot nematode can present compounds able to activate defense mechanisms in the vegetable. With this end, the chromatographic technique is based on the purification of molecules such as proteins, glycoproteins, nucleic acids and polysaccharides, which may present eliciting characteristics. The bean diseases have been responsible for major yield losses. The root-knot caused by the nematode Meloidogyne have been highlighted in recent years, especially in the soybean growing regions. Thus the aim of this study was to evaluate the potential of induction of resistance by Trichoderma and plant extracts compared with chemical terbufos and water in controlling nematode galls. Thousand nematode larvae J2 were inoculated in the root system of each plant. The evaluation took place 60 days after inoculation. Therefore, the objective of this work was to evaluate the in vitro nematicide / nematostatic potential of 1%, 5% and 10% of aqueous extract of Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) against M. incognita. In the scenario of renewable energy, Brazil has an important role, especially the biodiesel production chain that is growing, but its feasibility depends on the source material still adequate. An alternative source material is the crambe (Crambe abyssinica Hochst), but little is known about this culture. Thus was determined the survey of the diseases that may limit production in western Paraná.
