O presente trabalho teve como objetivo investigar e identificar as espécies de Staphylococcus coagulase-negativos (SCN) isolados no pré e pós-parto da glândula mamária de ovelhas portadoras de mastite subclínica. Foram utilizadas 68 ovelhas das raças Santa Inês e Morada Nova pertencentes a Embrapa Pecuária Sudeste, localizada no município de São Carlos-SP. As amostras de leite foram coletadas 15 dias antes do desmame, no 15° e 30° dia pósparto (estação de monta seguinte). Os resultados mostraram que os SCN prevaleceram em todas as coletas de leite realizadas, (48,1%, 53,6% e 57,1% respectivamente). Dentre as espécies de SCN identificados, Staphylococcus...
