| Coffee seeds are classified as intermediate because they have low tolerance to desiccation and low longevity. Consequently, moisture control and storage conditions are important factors in maintaining the physiological quality of these seeds. Thus, the objective in this work was to evaluate the water content effect on coffee seed longevity. Seeds of five Coffea arabica cultivars from the 2016/2017 crop were used. Part of the harvested seeds was dried in the shade until reach 12% moisture and the other part did not go through drying process, remaining with 40% water content. | O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a qualidade microbiológica do leite de acordo com a contagem bacteriana total (CTB) em rebanhos mestiços do Estado do Acre. As amostras foram analisadas eletronicamente pelo método da citometria de fluxo, com o auxílio do equipamento Bactocount IBC, Bentley r. Mais de 80% das amostras analisadas apresentaram CTB acima da permitida pela IN 51 e a média geral obtida foi de 3807,24 x 10 3 ufc/mLe o desvio-padrão de 2253,65 x 10 3 ufc/mL com variação de 112 x 10 3 ufc/mL e 8251 x 10 3 ufc/mL, esta média de CTB está acima da média relatada por outros autores e acima da permitida pela normativa %, o que mostra a baixa qualidade do leite dos rebanhos mestiços do estado do Acre. | Ingestion of proteinase inhibitors leads to hyperproduction of digestive proteinases, limiting the bioavailability of essential amino acids for protein synthesis, which affects insect growth and development. However, the effects of proteinase inhibitors on digestive enzymes can lead to an adaptive response by the insect. In here, we assessed the biochemical response of midgut proteinases from the eucalypt defoliator Thyrinteina arnobia (Stoll) to different concentrations of berenil, a bisbenzamidine proteinase inhibitor, on eucalyptus. | Objetivou-se avaliar o efeito do fertilizante mineral NPK associado ao resíduo orgânico ?cama de frango?, sobre as características agronômicas da soja bem como os teores de nutrientes em um Cambissolo. O experimento foi conduzido no município de Itutinga, sul de Minas Gerais, no delineamento em blocos casualizados, com três repetições em esquema de parcela subdividida. A cultivar utilizada no experimento foi a BRS Favorita RR. Os tratamentos aplicados às parcelas foram constituídos por quatro doses de ?cama de frango? (0; 3; 6 e 9 Mg ha-1), aplicados em área total. | The presence of phenolic substances in the seed coat may inhibit the germination of sorghum seeds, however, it is not known whether during the storage the reduction of these compounds occurs or if a break of dormancy occurs at low temperatures.
