| Abstract: This study evaluated the effects of isolated or combined prebiotics blended with sodium butyrate and zinc proteinate on performance, intestinal morphometry, and expression of genes associated with nutrient transport and immune response in broilers. 1,400 birds were randomly assigned to 5 treatments (Negative control (NC) without antibiotic; Positive control (PC) with antibiotic; Prebiotic (Prebio) composed of mannan fractions; Blend, composed of sodium butyrate, hydrolysed yeast cell wall and zinc proteinate; and the combination Prebio + Blend), with eight replications and 35 birds per experimental unit. | Abstratc: This study aimed to examine the impact of levels of dietary supplementation with fat-soluble vitamins on the production performance and egg quality of laying hens. Three hundred Hy-Line White W-36 laying hens were evaluated from 28 to 44 weeks of age. The birds were allotted to one of six treatments in a randomized block design with 10 replicates with five birds each. Performance and egg quality parameters were evaluated in four 28-day periods. A corn and soybean meal-based basal diet was formulated so as to meet the nutritional requirements of the animals, with the exception of fatsoluble vitamins. | Devido a proibição ou a restrição da utilização dos promotores de crescimento na avicultura a comunidade cientifica está sendo desafiada a desenvolver estratégias alternativas para manter o desempenho zootécnico, e a segurança alimentar. A utilização de simbióticos nas dietas de frangos de corte, pode contribuir na modulação da flora intestinal, afetando de forma benéfica o desempenho dos animais. Sendo assim este trabalho permitiu avaliar o desempenho zootécnico nas diferentes fazes de criação de frangos de corte alimentados com dietas contendo diferentes níveis de um simbiótico a base de levedura. |
