Este documento presenta y analiza las principales políticas aplicadas por el gobierno aprista para reactivar el agro peruano, evaluando su viabilidad financiera de corto y mediano plazo y sus efectos sobre el propio sector agrario y la economía en su conjunto. Describe y analiza la política de precios agrícolas, la política cambiaria y la política crediticia; evalúa los efectos de las políticas macroeconómicas descritas y de los subsidios agrícolas, en especial aquéllos que inciden sobre la inflación, el déficit fiscal y los términos de intercambio intersectoriales.

Risk and Subsidies in Czech Agriculture - an ex-ante Analysis of Farmers´ Decision-making AgEcon

This paper deals with the ex-ante analysis of the effects of farm subsidies on farm behaviour. Beside that the risk factor is implemented in the farm model to reflect and quantify potential (negative) impact on farm results. A farm-level optimization model is used to assess the effects of different kind of policies and risk on production structure, income indicators and land use management. It appeared that a reasonable level of risk (via income variation) have impact, but not significant. If liberalisation would have happened (zero direct and disadvantageous payments) production would homogenised, 30% of land would remained abandoned, production and income would clearly decline. Transformation of Domestic Agricultural Support System of Ukraine in WTO Conditions AgEcon

Last years Ukraine allocated considerably finance resources for agriculture support according to their loading on the budget. However, amount increase of domestic support does not substantionally influence on the effectiveness indices of agricultural yields. Such information testifies about imperfect nature of the internal support mechanism of Ukrainian agriculture. As the result, domestic support did not become effective stimulus for production quality increase and rise amount of stock - breeding production. In 2008 Ukraine gathered the biggest grain harvest. Increase production did not improve finance results of agriculture and did not reduce stable and dynamic branch development because of negative influence of world finance crises. Unbalanced supply...
