| The aim was to analyze variation in 12 Brazilian and Moroccan goat populations, and, through principal component analysis (PCA), check the importance of body measures and their indices as a means of distinguishing among individuals and populations. The biometric measurements were wither height (WH), brisket height (BH) and ear length (EL). Thorax depth (WH-BH) and the three indices, TD/WH, EL/TD and EL/WH, were also calculated. Of the seven components extracted, the first three principal components were sufficient to explain 99.5% of the total variance of the data. | The principal biometric relations of juvenile Trachypenaeus similis similis and T. constrictus in Guadeloupe were calculated from 1976 to 1978. The examination of these relations yields few differences between the two species. A growth curve was established according to the sequences of modal values; these were determined according to weekly size frequency distributions over three different periods of time. In the zone studied, the growth of young Trachypenaeus is more rapid than that of the young Penaeus. |

| Pour l’étude biométrique de la squille Squilla mantis, un échantillonnage régulier a été réalisé dans le golfe de Tunis, le golfe de Hammamet et le golfe de Gabès de janvier 2005 à décembre 2006. Les équations morphométriques de la squille, dans le golfe de Gabès, ont montré que la croissance relative du telson, celle de la masse totale et celle de la masse éviscérée par rapport à celle du céphalothorax sont caractérisées par une allométrie positive. Par contre, la longueur totale croît négativement par rapport à celle du céphalothorax. | The main objective of this work is to study some biological aspects of Carcinus aestuarii Northern Sfax (biometry, reproduction, diet), and biochemical contents (water, protein, minerals, and fat). Analysis of metric characteristics of Carcinus aestuarii allowed us to determine the nature of the allometry between the width and différent parts of the body of the crab. | Le présent travail porte sur l’étude des caractères biométriques de l’huître perlière Pinctada radiata des îles de Kerkennah pour la différenciation entre les populations des deux sites El Kraten et El Jorf à partir d’un pouvoir discriminant des caractères métriques et méristiques. | ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to characterize the seeds quality and the plant development of F1 and F2 generations of hybrid UENF/Caliman 01 papaya, and the relations between the physic-chemical and physiological quality of seeds, vegetative and reproductive development of plants in the field for 360 days, and fruit quality.
