Biomais Streifensortenversuche 2018 – die Ergebnisse Organic Eprints

Auf fünf Biobetrieben der Deutschschweiz wurden 2018 acht Maissorten in Streifenversuchen geprüft. Neben Sorten, die bereits auf der Sortenliste von Swissgranum stehen oder in der Schweiz in Prüfung sind, wurden auch die Populationssorten Evolino (OPM12) von GZPK (CH) und Bogdan (Dottenfelder Hof, D) sowie die Hybride Farmezzo (Farmsaat, D) angebaut.

Erforschung des Potentials, das perennierender Weizen in Deutschland bietet (PWeizen) Organic Eprints
Es wird das Potenzial von perennierendem Weizen für den Anbau in Deutschland erforscht, insbesondere unter weniger günstigen Standortbedingungen. Perennierender Weizen ist eine neue Kulturpflanze aus der Kreuzung eines ausdauernden Grases aus der Familie der Poaceae mit dem Kulturweizen Triticum aestivum. Als ausdauernde Pflanze entwickelt der perennierende Weizen ein ausgeprägtes Wurzelsystem, so dass die Pflanze mit Trockenzeiten und einem geringeren Nährstoffangebot besser zurechtkommt. Im Vordergrund des Projektes steht nicht die Ertragsmaximierung, sondern die Minimierung des Aufwandes sowie ökologische und naturschutzrechtliche Aspekte wie Reduzierung der Erosion. Ertragsleistung und Unkrautunterdrückungsvermögen von Blauen Lupinen (Lupinus angustifolius L.) im Gemenge mit ausgewählten Partnern und Saatdichten Organic Eprints

Die Steigerung des Korn- und Gesamtpflanzenertrags, der Ertragsstabilität sowie einer guten Unkrautunterdrückung von im Gemenge angebauten Körnerleguminosen mit einem Nicht-Leguminosen-Partner ist in einer Vielzahl von Studien belegt. Im Gegensatz zu Erbsen und Ackerbohnen wurden Lupinen bisher in geringerem Umfang untersucht. Dabei besteht bei Lupinen der Bedarf, Sorten zu identifizieren, die eine hohe Konkurrenzkraft gegenüber Unkräutern und Partnern im Gemengeanbau aufweisen.

Genotype and environment interaction on field pea cultivars in organic cropping system Organic Eprints

Like other grain legumes, also field pea globally is important sources of plant protein and their growing have also positive effect on soil fertility. But, there are some constraints in their production, such pests and diseases and unstable yield. A high biodiversity and the selection of appropriate cultivars are important factors for the stability of agricultural systems especially in organic farming. Corresponding genotype choice for pea growing in mixtures with cereals can be one of the possibilities which enhances stable yield through field environment changes based on species diversity.

Prüfung von Wintererbsengenotypen auf ihre Winterhärte Organic Eprints

In 2010 two field experiments were set up and conducted under conditions of organic farming on two locations (clay loam and loamy sand) examining a set of winter pea genotypes (F7 generation crosses of winter and spring peas) for their winter hardiness, in the field and in a frost chamber under controlled conditions. The results from the first experimental season show no distinct correlation between flower colour and winter hardiness (survival rate). At the same time the marked range of survival rates within crossing groups and within leaf type x flower colour combinations confirm the relevance of further selection.
