Para ofrecer un mejor producto para inducir brotación en durazno, además de la necesidad de nuevos y más eficientes promotores de brotación, es importante documentar su efecto sobre la fisiología de la planta completa y la respuesta en crecimiento. Por lo anterior, el objetivo de esta investigación fue estudiar la respuesta en el crecimiento y acumulación y partición de materia seca, así como la producción de fruto en plantas completas de durazno sometidas a aplicación de promotores de brotación, con lo que se altera su fenología. Effect of aminoethoxyvinilglycine (AVG) on preharvest fruit drop and maturity of apples Rev. Bras. Frutic.

Apple trees cultivars Gala and Fuji were sprayed four weeks before commercial harvest with aminoethoxyvinilglycine (AVG), at doses of 0, 125, or 250 mg L-1, and assessed for preharvest fruit drop, fruit growth, and maturation on tree. In 'Gala', 64 days after AVG spraying, fruit drop for control treatment was 85%, and AVG (at 125 and 250 mg L-1) reduced it to 10%. In 'Fuji', 64 days after AVG spraying, fruit drop for control was 6%, while treatments with AVG (at 125 and 250 mg L-1) increased fruit drop to 10%. Peppers (Capsicum annuum L.) are an important horticultural crop and are used fresh and processed. Fruit size estimation is used to describe the fruit’s growth curve, monitor individual plant growth, predict yield, and conduct physiological studies. Water displacement techniques are used to determine fruit volume, but these are time-consuming and impractical under field conditions. 不同著果枝條對楊桃果實發育與貯藏品質之影響 Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute

[[abstract]]本研究主要探討‘秤錘’楊桃 (Averrhoa carambola L.) 不同著果枝條果實在發育過程中外觀形態、內部組成分之變化與其貯藏品質的比較。調查結果顯示,‘秤錘’楊桃果實在發育期間並無生長停滯期,生長曲線呈單S型。5月開花的果實其果長、稜厚、稜寬及周長在花後1週即快速增加,鮮重及體積則於花後3週起開始快速上升,可溶性固形物直到花後7週起才開始迅速累積,在花後10週其外觀形態增長速率已趨於緩和,可視為進入生理成熟期,果實顏色的變化亦由發育中期的暗綠色逐漸轉變為完熟期的全黃色。在內部成分的變化上,水分含量、可溶性固形物及醣類含量等均隨果實發育而增加,而硬度、可滴定酸則隨著果實的發育而降低。果實著生的枝條部位間,老枝所著生的果實比新枝者有較大的果重及體積,稜寬也較大,果形呈短橢圓形,著色較淺;在內容物組成上,老枝所著生的果實可溶性固形物及醣類含量較低,可滴定酸及硬度較高;在貯藏品質上,室溫下第1週老枝果實的失水率較低,但之後卻較高於新枝;至於果實經5℃、21日的冷藏後,再移至室溫19日後之失水率則以新枝果實較高於老枝。

藥用植物-銅皮石斛人工授粉時期及果莢發育之研究 Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute

[[abstract]]銅皮石斛 (Dendrobium moniliforme (L.) Sweet) 為蘭科 (Orchidaceae) 石斛屬 (Dendrobium) 具藥用之經濟植物。授粉後之果莢發育,其寬度、厚度及長度皆呈現S型生長曲線 (sigmoid curve),生長速度皆以授粉後第1~2週呈加速度,並分別於授粉後第3、8及9週達到較大值,以後變化很小。銅皮石斛之自交授粉,以在開花後2~7日內進行較為適當。而較佳時期則為開花後2~5日,此時授粉之著果率約為10 %;人工異花授粉則以開花當日至開花後5日進行較為適當,此時可交性較強,果莢著果率在30%~100%之間。
