ABSTRACT - The objective of this work was to identify the most adapted and stable genotypes for dry mass and seed yield using the genotype plus environment interaction (GGE) biplot technique. The experiment was conducted in the municipality of Frederico Westphalen, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021, using five lines and two cultivars of black oat, in a randomized complete block experimental design, with three replicates. The adaptability and stability of the genotypes, as well as their behavior in the environments, were evaluated using the GGE biplot. The seed yield of black oat genotypes is highly influenced by the environmental conditions over the four studied cultivation years. The UFSMFW 2-07 genotype stands out,... |

Characterization of 31 native populations of maize conserved at the germplasm bank of the PNLA Pergamino Experimental Station, Argentina, was achieved by evaluating 10 quantitative attributes in two different environmental situations. The experimental design generated three-way or three-mode data, repeated observations of a set of attributes for a set of individuals in different conditions. The information was displayed in a three-dimensional array, and the structure of the data was explored using Three-Mode Principal Component Analysis, the Tucker-2 Model. A group of populations was identified that displayed homogeneous behavior in the two environments with respect to the following traits: ear length, prolificacy, grains per meter, yield and 1000 kernel... |

The objectives of this study were a description of the Centroid Method, which is used to investigate the phenotypic adaptability of genotypes and the inclusion of new ideotypes therein, creating the Integrated Method for adaptability and phenotypic stability analysis, as well as a comparison of the two methods in a study example. As an applied example of the new proposal, grain yield data of 14 soybean genotypes from experiments at four locations in the state of Minas Gerais were used. In a comparison, the qualitative and quantitative gains of the Centroid Method with seven ideotypes were higher than of the Centroid Method with only four ideotypes for adaptability analysis. With the incorporation of the new ideotypes into the Centroid Method other... |

Thirteen genotypes of Bromus catharticus (prairie grass) were evaluated for forage production over three years using completely randomized trials with six replicates. The genotype x environment interaction was statistically significant and indicates that the behavior of genotypes differs over time. Once this interaction was detected, we used three methodologies to assess the stability of genotypes: Wricke's ecovalence, the Lin and Binns index, and the Eberhart and Russell model. The methods of Lin and Binns and Eberhart and Russell indicate that genotypes 11, 9, 3 and 4 are stable. They also rule out possible selection of genotypes 2, 10, 1 and 12 for lack of stability or poor adaptation. The correlation among these indices was statistically significant... |

Estes... |
