| The thesis gives a brief account of the status of the labor economy in Three Gorges Reservoir area, which indicates that the labor economy in this area has made certain development; characterized by fragile ecology, backward economic development and weak capacity to absorb employment, the Three Gorges Reservoir area is densely populated and has lots of rural surplus labors which needs to be transferred.
