| Abstract: The objective of this work was to evaluate soybean (Glycine max) grain yield and the establishment of perennial intercropped forages. Soybean was evaluated in sole crop and intercropped with the following forages: Megathyrsus maximus, Aruana and BRS Tamani cultivars; Urochloa brizantha, Xaraés, BRS Piatã, and BRS Paiaguás cultivars; U. decumbens; and U. ruziziensis. A randomized complete block design was used, with seven replicates, in the 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 crop seasons. In the intercropped system, the forages were sown 21 and 14 days after soybean emergence, in the first and second crop seasons, respectively. | PT-BR: O objetivo com este estudo foi compreender o efeito da disponibilidade hídrica sobre a produtividade no capim-mombaça [Megathyrsus maximus (Jacq.) B. K. Simon & S. W. L. Jacobs] e capim-marandu [Brachiaria brizantha (Hochst. ex A. Rich.) R. D. Webster], determinando o coeficiente de resposta ao déficit hídrico (ky). O experimento foi avaliado em delineamento de blocos ao acaso, com duas forragens e três repetições. O período experimental correspondeu a doze ciclos de crescimento com intervalos fixos de colheita (28 dias para a estação chuvosa e 42 dias para a estação seca). | ABSTRACT: Light intensity available in growing environments may influence the susceptibility of plants to glyphosate and decomposition of their residues. This study aimed to assess the productivity, control, and decomposition of forage straw submitted to glyphosate doses and exposed to full sun and 50% shade. | ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study was to evaluate forage plant susceptibility in Urochloa ssp. and Megathyrsus maximus with two glyphosate herbicide doses, to increase the efficiency of integrated crop-livestock farming systems. A randomized block design was adopted, in a split-plot arrangement, with six replications.
