Analyse descriptive de la pêcherie du golfe de Tunis OceanDocs

Ce travail décrit les résultats de la campagne de pêche benthique dans le golfe de Tunis. Durant la campagne de 1999, les ressources benthiques du golfe sont exploitées par 45 chalutiers. Ces unités ont enregistré une production de 590 tonnes qui est voisine à celle de deux années précédentes. Les débarquements sont constitués essentiellement de merlu Merluccius merluccius , rouget blanc Mullus barbatus, saurel Trachurus sp., chevrette Parapenaeus longirostris, pageot Pagellus sp. et spicarel Spicara sp. Le chalutage expérimental dans le golfe a donné un rendement horaire de 45Kg et un pourcentage de rejet évalué à 16%. L'étude des structures démographiques des principales espèces montre que l'exploitation dans le golfe s'effectue sur des groupes d'âge...

The main characteristics concerning the distribution of two of the most important decapod crustaceans of commercial interest in the Mediterranean Sea, the deep-water rose shrimp, Parapenaeus longirostris, and the Norway lobster, Nephrops norvegicus, are studied in the European Mediterranean waters. The study is based on data collected under the MEDITS trawl surveys from 1994 to 2015 from the Gibraltar Straits to the northeastern Levantine Basin (Cyprus waters). The observed differences can be interpreted as different responses to environmental drivers related to the differing life history traits of the two species.
