Objetivou-se avaliar as características físicas e químicas de seis cultivares de pessegueiros sobre os porta-enxertos Okinawa e Umê. O trabalho foi desenvolvido no Pólo Regional Alta Sorocabana-APTA, Presidente Prudente-SP, em 2004/2006. Foram avaliados a massa, comprimento, diâmetros sutural dos frutos, produção por planta, teor de sólidos solúveis (SS) e acidez titulável (AT). As avaliações permitiram concluir que os porta-enxertos influenciaram na massa dos frutos, tendo sobressaído o Umê, com frutos de maior massa média. Em 2006, ocorreu aumento significativo na produtividade de todas as cultivares, sobressaindo-se as cvs. Talismã e Doçura 2, com valores acima da média. A cv. Two experiments were conducted to evaluate different digestible isoleucine/lysine ratios on diets for broiler chickens in the starter (7 to 21 days) and finishing (30 to 43 days) phases. For the tests, the experimental design was of randomized blocks with seven treatments (six different digestible isoleucine/lysine ratios and a control treatment) and eight repetitions of 25 and 20 birds (COBB males) per experimental unit in the starter and finishing phases, respectively. The diets met the requirements, except for isoleucine and lysine. ABSTRACT Previous studies have confirmed the potential of hyperspectral spectroscopy (HS) to detect charcoal rot toxin effect on soybean (Glycine max). However, there is no evidence that it can differentiate among difference responses to that effect. This research tested the potential of HS (900–2400 nm) to differentiate different responses to charcoal rot effect caused by the fungal pathogen Macrophomina phaseolina. The factors responsible for inducing the synthesis of toxins and responses from toxic phytoplankton blooms remain unclear. In this study we compare the influence of genotypic (at both the intra and interspecific levels) and environmental factors (nutrient concentration and ratio) on growth (in terms of cell densities) and domoic acid (DA) production in three Pseudo-nitzschia species: P. australis, P.pungens and P.fradulenta. El objetivo de la presente investigación fue estudiar el efecto de las relaciones (en la solución nutritiva) amonio/nitrato (NH4+/NO3-) y calcio/potasio (Ca2+/K+) en plantas de fresa Fragaria x ananassa cv. Festival, cultivadas en fibra de coco en un sistema hidropónico. Los tratamientos de NH4+/NO3- fueron 100/0, 75/25, 25/75 y 0/100 en porcentaje de nitrógeno total y 58/42, 75/25, 50/50, 25/75 de Ca2+/K+. Los resultados obtenidos indicaron que las plantas con mayor crecimiento vegetativo y área foliar fueron las que se cultivaron con el tratamiento 100/0 donde se adicionó el 100% de nitrógeno en forma de amonio.
