Efeitos do potencial alelopatico de tres leguminosas forrageiras sobre tres invasoras de pastagens. Repositório Alice

Bioensaios foram desenvolvidos para identificar e caracterizar os efeitos do potencial alelopatico das leguminosas forrageiras leucena, mineirao e calopogonio sobre a germinacao e o alongamento da radicula das invasoras de pastagens desmodio, guanxuma e assa-peixe. Extratos aquosos de sementes e da parte aerea foram preparados na concentracao de 10%(p/v). O pH e o potencial osmotico foram medidos em cada extrato. Os efeitos do potencial osmotico foram calculados pela equacao de regressao, que se ajustou a variacao do potencial osmotico em cada parametro, e pelo potencial osmotico dos extratos. The main objective of this work was to verify the effect of the substitution of phosphate by its related compound phosphite on the in vitro growth of sweet potato nodal segments. Segments from a previous culture were incubated in MS media with the following combinations of  phosphate:phosphite: Control (100 / 0%); T1 (87.5 / 12.5%); T2 (75 / 25%); T3 (50 / 50%) and T4 (0 / 100%) in a 5 x 5 factorial arrangement, with five treatments (Control, T1, T2, T3 and T4) and five evaluation periods (7, 14, 21, 28 and 35 days). The objective of this work was to study morphogenic characteristics, and dry matter production of roots and shoots of marandu palisadegrass (Brachiaria brizantha cv. Marandu) submitted to combinations of nitrogen and potassium, in a nutritive solution, employing silica as substrate. The experiment was carried out in a greenhouse during the summer. It was used a 5² fractionated factorial scheme with 13 combinations of nitrogen and potassium, which were distributed in a randomized block design, with four replications. Shoot-foliage relationships in deciduous, semideciduous, and evergreen cerrado tree species Braz. J. Plant Physiol.

The morphology and the biomass allocation in shoots and leaves were investigated in 15 cerrado tree species with distinct leaf phenology growing under natural conditions. Higher values of leaf/shoot ratio on mass base, individual leaf area, leaf area per shoot, leaf display index, and leaf number per shoot length were found in deciduous than in evergreen species. The differences about shoot-foliage relationship across leaf phenological groups could be explained by plagiotropic shoots on deciduous and by erect shoots in semideciduous and evergreen species.
