Rejets urbains. Volet Manche - Atlantique - Site de Morlaix - Etudes sédimentologique et Bathymétrique de l' estuaire de Morlaix ArchiMer
Bassoullet, Philippe; L'Yavanc, Jacky; Guillaud, Jean-francois; Loarer, Ronan; Breton, Marguerite.
In order to increase our knowledge about sediment transport in the bay and maritime part of the River of Morlaix (Finistère), measurernènts have been perforrned on site. This report gives the granulometrical and physical parameters of the sediments as weIl as the hydrodynamics, used for a model of particulate transport in the area. The rnodel and its application will be published later

Sewage sludge as nitrogen and phosphorus source for cane-plant and first ratoon crops Rev. Bras. Ciênc. Solo
Franco,Ademir; Abreu Junior,Cassio Hamilton; Perecin,Dilermando; Oliveira,Fernando Carvalho; Granja,Ana Carolina Ribeiro; Braga,Vivian Santoro.
The use of sewage sludge in Brazilian agriculture was regulated by the resolution no. 375 Conama, in 2006. However, there is a lack of research to adequate the mineral N and P fertilizer doses to be applied in agricultural fields treated with this residue. In a field experiment, the effects of application rates of sewage sludge and mineral N and P fertilizers on the productivity and technical characteristics of the cane-plant and first ratoon (residual effect) crops were evaluated. Four doses of sewage sludge (0, 3.6, 7.2 and 10.8 t ha-1, dry base), of N (0, 30, 60 and 90 kg ha-1) and of P2O5 (0, 60, 120 and 180 kg ha-1) were combined in a factorial and laid out on randomized block design, a with two replications. To evaluate the residual effect of the...

Toxicité sublétale du tétrachloroéthylène sur la crevette des marais Palaemonetes varians ArchiMer
Lassus, Patrick; Chagot, Dominique; Miossec, Laurence; Bocquene, Gilles; Truquet, Philippe.
Tetrachloroethylene, a chlorinated solvent, is detected in the plume of East-Toulon domestic wastes treatment plant. Its subletal toxicity was tested du ring 31 days in a flow-through system at Pen Bron aquaculture centre, using swampshrimp Palaemonetes varians as test organism. Under expérimental conditions : natural variations in temperature and salinity , normal pH, ammonia and dissolved oxyg~n values, running tetrachloroethylene concentrations (10, 100 and 500 µg.l-1) induced neither mortalities nor any change in molting frequencies of experirnented animaIs. Histology of gills in contaminated animaIs showed several non specific deteriorations which could be observed either in control or assay animaIs. Necrosis levels nevertheless, seem to increase in...
