The article deals with development of parasitological studies performed for recent years by Soviet parasitologists. Intensification of the researches due to creation of new parasitological groups (Atlant NIRO, AzCherNIRO, PINRO) and intensification of work at the already existed laboratories are emphasized. New regions of the Atlantic ocean (Folkland-Patagonia, Central Atlantics) are explored. The degree of food-fish invasion with myxosporidia and Anisakis larvae is determined. The studies in infection of the Mediterranean, Black and Azov sea fishes are kept on and generalized in "Determinative key of parasites for the Black and Azov seas Vertebrates." including 711 species of parasitic invertebrates. In the Indian ocean the researches in food-fish infection are performed in the shelf zone of the Gulf of Aden, littoral zone of Oman and Mozambique straits as well as in the Antarctic sector. Peculiarities of helminthofauna of sargo, herring and perche fishes are considered.
