The stygobiont Amphipoda of Jamaica Autores:  Stock, Jan H. Data:  1983 Ano:  1983 Resumo:  Of sixty-one stygofauna samples from Jamaica, seven contained hypogean Amphipoda. These seven samples yielded four species (three new) of the genus Metaniphargus. No other genera were encountered. Descriptive notes on these four species are provided. The cladistics of Metaniphargus and allied genera are briefly discussed.
