Resumo:  羊草の耐塩性が体内の塩濃度に由来するかについて,塩ストレス下においてペレニアルライグラス(耐塩性)およびメドウフェスク(塩感受性)と比較して調べた。羊草地上部のナトリウム(Na)濃度は他の2草種より低く,Naの排出速度は他の2草種よりわずかに高かった。地下部においては,羊草のNa濃度は他の2草種とほぼ同じであったが,Naの吸収および排出速度は他の2草種より極めて低かった。このとき,吸収と排出速度の差は他の2草種より小さかった。以上の結果,羊草の耐塩性は,地下部での塩の低吸収および効率的排出と,これらに起因する地上部での塩の低蓄積によるものと考えられる。 Reduction of plant sodium level as a means of salt tolerance of Chinese wild rye (Aneurolepidium chinense (Trin.) Kitag.) was investigated under salt stressed condition as compared with perennial ryegrass (salt tolerant) and meadow fescue (salt sensitive). Sodium concentration in the top portion of Chinese wild rye was lower than those in other two grasses, while the excretion rate in the rye top was only slightly higher. Sodium concentration in the root of the rye was similar to that for the other two grasses, while the absorption and excretion rates in the rye root were lower. Difference between the absorption and excretion rates in the rye root was smaller than that in the other two grasses. The results obtained suggest that low absorption and functional excretion of salt in root, and the resulting low accumulation in top, are responsible for the salt tolerance of Chinese wild rye.
