The triclorphon is a organophosphorus pesticides whose use this allowed not, in spite of it is thoroughly it employee in the aquaculture for its effectiveness for the ectoparasites treatment. Very little information exists on the effect of this compound on the blood parameters of O. aureus. The concentration used was of 27,5 mg/L of Triclorphon. The samples were take of 6 fish at the 2, 6, 24 and 48 h of exhibition. The haematological variables evaluated were: Haemoglobin, Haematocrit, red blood cell count, Volume Corpuscular Mean, Haemoglobin Corpuscular Mean, and Concentration of Haemoglobin Corpuscular Mean. It was observed that triclorphon didn’t cause changes in the Hgb, Ht and RBCC neither in the corpuscular constants, although if significant difference was observed with regard to the control (p 0,05) starting from 24 h with increase of the neutrophile, eosinophils were present, decrease of the mature lymphocytes and decrease of the thrombocytes; as well as erythroblasts abundance and presence of triangular erythrocytes, amitosis.
El triclorfon es un pesticida organofosforado cuyo uso no está permitido, a pesar de ello es empleado ampliamente en la acuicultura por su efectividad para el tratamiento de ectoparasitosis. Existe muy poca información acerca del efecto de este compuesto sobre los parámetros sanguíneos de O. aureus. La concentración ensayada fue de 27,5 mg/L de triclorfon. Se tomaron muestras de seis peces a las 2, 6, 24 y 48 h de exposición. Las variables hematológicas evaluadas fueron: Hemoglobina, Hematócrito, Conteo de Eritrocitos, Volumen Corpuscular Media, Hemoglobina Corpuscular Media, Concentración de Hemoglobina Corpuscular Media. Se observó que triclorfon no ocasionó cambios en la Hb, Hto y NoE ni en las constantes corpusculares, aunque sí se observó diferencia significativa con respecto al control (p 0,05) a partir de las 24 h, con aumento de los neutrófilos, presencia de eosinófilos, disminución de los linfocitos maduros y disminución de los trombocitos; así como abundancia de eritroblastos y presencia de eritrocitos triangulares y amitosis.
