There is a strong demand for organic tofu. However, the demand for Swiss organic soya cannot be supplied currently. Therefore, this leaflet provides information on what to consider during the whole soya production process. First, it provides an overview on soya and its use. In the main part, the cultivation is explained. Different topics about soya varieties and their needs, the right crop rotation and weed as well as disease management are covered. Finally, there is also some information about economic aspects. This leaflet was made for organic farmers that want to begin cultivating organic soya, but it might also be of use to conventional farmers. The information about economic aspects is specific to Switzerland.
