| Ved produktion af økologisk brødkorn såvel som konventionelt brødkorn er der en række krav, der skal være opfyldt for, at sikre en god kvalitet. Ved god kvalitet forstås såvel meludbyttet som forarbejdningsegenskaberne for melet i bageprocessen. Udbyttet af de dyrkede hvedesorter har været stødt stigende gennem de sidste 50 år. Dette kommer af en intensiv forædlingsindsats. Indsatsen har været koncentreret om vinterhvede, der har den største udbredelse. De nyere højtydende vinterhvedesorter er kortere, mere robuste mod lejesæd, svampeangreb og blomstrer tidligere end gamle sorter. | Root and foot rot is economically important disease of peas and is caused by complex of more than 20 different species of soil-borne pathogens. In recent years in Germany, Fusarium avenaceum is emerging as important and devastating pathogen and it is together with several other species, including F. solani, F. oxysporum, F. redolens and Phoma medicaginis among the casual agents of the disease that is commonly referred to as pea root rot complex. In 2012, after severe black frost in February that caused failure of the pea crop, F. avenaceum was isolated in high percentage, 42% of assessed roots. | Spatio-temporal distribution, combined with aspects of insect biology and ecology can influence the infestation risk of the key pea pest Cydia nigricana in vegetable- and field peas. The proximity of pea fields of the previous cultivation period highly affects the infestation potential of the moth. The presented study aims to monitor the infestation development in three different regions in Germany (North Hesse, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt) in four consecutive years and to relate empirical pest incidences to key factors as crop abundance, the distance to previous pea fields, the pea plant phenology and climatic conditions. | All the main cereal crops - wheat, barley and oats, triticale, rye and spelt - can be grown organically in the UK. Until recently, the most important organic cereals were wheat and oats, with premiums paid for samples which reached milling quality. In the last year or two, more livestock farmers than arable farmers have converted to organic production so that feed grain has been in short supply, and the range of cereals grown organically has increased. New markets have also developed. Malted organic barley has been used for some time to produce beer, and now barley malt and wheat have been processed into organic whisky. |

This leaflet provides some general information about the cultivation of rape. Different topics about rape varieties and their needs, the right crop rotation and weed management are covered. | Die Wirkung pflanzlicher organischer Dünger (meist Leguminosenschrot) wurde bislang vorwiegend im Jahr der Anwendung, aber nicht als Langzeiteffekt auf Erträge und Bodenentwicklung untersucht. Ein direkter Vergleich mit Stallmist unter Feldbedingungen findet in der Regel nicht statt. Deshalb haben wir in einem Langzeitversuch (seit 1996) Stallmistdüngung, organische Dünger pflanzlicher Herkunft (meist Ackerbohnenschrot) und Mineraldüngung miteinander verglichen. In allen drei Schnitten brachte die Nachwirkung der pflanzlichen Dünger niedrigere Frisch- und Trockenmasse-Erträge als die N-gleichen Stallmistvarianten. | Crop rotations of organic farms without livestock were compared on three sites for three years in three replications. The crop rotations consisted of a kernel legume and two cereals. Different distances in the rows of kernel legumes and various ways of intercropping after them should improve the yield of cereals. Within the kernel legumes peas (5.5 tons/ha) and faba beans (5.2 tons/ha) had high, lupins (2.5 tons/ha) low yields. The following crop winter wheat reached high yields (6.0 tons/ha) with no differences depending on the species of kernel legumes, their distances in rows or the variations in intercropping.
