| Drosophila suzukii is a major pest of soft-skinned fruits, and insecticides are often used to prevent fruit damage caused by oviposition. As D. suzukii produces many generations per year, repeated insecticide applications are required. Furthermore, D. suzukii attacks ripening and ripe fruits shortly before harvest. Therefore, the use of synthetic insecticides is limited by long pre-harvest intervals and maximum residue limits. To be able to offer producers immediate and sustainable solutions, we tested 25 natural crop protection products with three different application methods in a laboratory screening. | Die Kirschessigfliege (Drosophila suzukii) wurde 2008 aus Südostasien nach Europa einge-schleppt und verursacht seitdem z.T. massive Ertragsausfälle. Sie befällt alle Weichobstarten, wie z.B. Beeren, Kirschen, Zwetschgen und Trauben. Auch viele wilde Pflanzen, wie z.B. Ho-lunder und Schneeball dienen als Wirtspflanzen. Der Hauptschaden entsteht durch den Larven-frass an den Früchten. Da der Generationszyklus sehr kurz ist und daher mehrere Generationen parallel auftreten, kommt es zu einem starken Befallsdruck im Spätsommer und Herbst. Da Trauben länger hängen als z.B. | In this deliverable of the Project OK-Net Arable project, the findings from peer-review research on the productivity of organic arable crops are reported. Then the conclusions and recommendations for five most important levers which can be used by the farmers are presented. Finally, the most important recommendations of the EIP-AGRI Focus Group on Organic Farming - Optimizing Arable Yields are summarized in order to put innovation on organic farms in its social context. |

| Der Erfolg des Naturalis-Einsatzes zur Regulierung der Kirschenfliege wurde im Jahr 2009 auf sieben und im Jahr 2010 auf vier Praxisbetrieben begleitet. Im Jahr 2009 wurden auf drei der sieben Betriebe befriedigende Resultate erzielt. Bei zwei Be- trieben ist die ungenügende Wirkung auf klare Anwendungsfehler zurückzuführen. Die schlechten Resultate auf zwei weiteren Betrieben waren nicht abschliessend begründbar. Im Jahr 2010 war die Wirkung auf allen vier Betrieben unbefriedigend, wobei bei drei Betrieben wiederum Anwendungsfehler die Ursache waren. | Abstract: Growers of organic Brassica vegetables and oilseed rape face the same potentially severe plant protection problems as their colleagues in conventional or integrated pest management systems.
