Available phosphorus levels in diets for pigs with high genetic potential for lean meat deposition kept in thermoneutral environment from 15 to 30 kg R. Bras. Zootec.

It was used 72 pigs, 36 castrated males and 36 females, with initial weight of 14.97 ± 0.36 kg to evaluate levels of dietary available phosphorus (aP). The animals were distributed in a completely randomized block design, with six levels of aP (0.107; 0.214; 0.321; 0.428; 0.535 and 0.642%), six replicates and two animals (one castrated male and one female) per experimental unit. Air temperature and relative humidity in the room were kept at 24.5 ± 1.2°C and 76.3 ± 8.5%, respectively. The levels of aP influenced both daily feed intake and daily weight gain, which increased in a quadratic way up to the estimated levels of 0.420% and 0.443%, respectively and feed conversion, which improved in a quadratic manner up to the estimated level of 0.461%. Com o objetivo de validar as relações de aminoácidos digestíveis com a lisina digestível propostas com base no conceito da proteína ideal, foi realizado um experimento com 120 matrizes suínas em lactação, distribuídas em delineamento em blocos, composto de seis dietas, 20 blocos e uma matriz por unidade experimental. As dietas foram formuladas a partir de uma dieta-referência - contendo 19,5% de proteína bruta (PB) e 0,95% de lisina digestível - suplementada com metionina, treonina, triptofano e/ou valina digestíveis para atingir as relações com a lisina digestível determinadas com base na proteína ideal. ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of L-arginine supplementation in lactation diets on the productive and reproductive performance of pluriparous sows and their litters. Seventy-six sows of the same genetic line were assigned to four treatments in a completely randomized design with 19 replicates. The experimental unit was the sow and its respective litter. Treatments comprised a control diet (no L-arginine supplementation) and other three diets obtained by top dressing the control diet with 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5% of L-arginine. With the objective to evaluate levels of available phosphorus (aP) in diets with or without ractopamine, 112 gilts with high genetic potential for meat deposition with initial weigh of 94.0±2.28 kg were allotted in a completely randomized block design, in a 4 × 2 factorial arrangement (0.109, 0.209, 0.309, and 0.409% aP and 0 or 5 ppm of ractopamine), with eight treatments, seven replicates, and two gilts per experimental unit. There were no interactions between aP levels and ractopamine. The levels of available phosphorus influenced both daily weight gain and daily phosphorus intake, which increased linearly. In order to evaluate the effects of increasing dietary tryptophan levels on performance and carcass characteristics of growing pigs, a total of 60 crossbred castrated male pigs, with average initial and final body weights of 15.50 ± 1.15 and 30.60 ± 1.35 kg were used. Este estudo foi conduzido com o objetivo de avaliar os níveis de fitase em rações para suínos em crescimento selecionados para deposição de carne. Foram utilizados 64 suínos mestiços (32 machos castrados e 32 fêmeas), híbridos comerciais, com peso médio inicial de 23,311±2,254 kg, distribuídos em delineamento de blocos casualizados, com quatro tratamentos, oito repetições e dois animais (um macho e uma fêmea) por unidade experimental. Two experiments were conducted to determine the effects of dietary net energy content (NE) on performance and carcass traits of finishing barrows fed low-crude protein (CP) diets. Pigs (60.0±1.05kg, Exp. 1, 93.0±1.56kg, Exp. 2) were allotted in a randomized block design to 3 dietary treatments. Exp. 1 had 6 pens treatment-1 and Exp. 2 had 8 pens treatment-1 and all pens had 2 pigs. Quatrocentos e noventa e cinco pintos de um dia, da marca comercial Cobb, com peso médio inicial de 45,6 ± 0,3g foram utilizados, distribuídos em delineamento inteiramente casualizado, com três dietas contendo diferentes níveis de lisina digestível, nove repetições e onze aves por unidade experimental para determinar o melhor nível de lisina para a fase pré-incial (1 a 7 dias de idade) e o melhor plano nutricional para o período total (1 a 21 dias de idade). Sequences of digestible lysine for gilts from 60 to 148 days of age Ciência Rural
