| This study aims to determine the importance of different environments of the Ligeiro River (upper Uruguay River, Brazil) in fish reproduction. For this purpose, three environments (sampling sites) were selected: rapids, a pool, and the mouth of the Ligeiro River. Ichthyoplankton, zooplankton, and benthos were sampled six times per month from September, 2006 to March, 2007. Zooplankton and ichthyoplankton samples were collected early in the evening with plankton nets (64 µm and 500 µm, respectively). | Se presenta la composicion, abundancia y distribucion del ictioplancton obtenido en la campana del BIP Dr. Eduardo L. Holmberg EH-04 04 03 realizada en octubre de 2003 Instituto Nacional de Investigacion y Desarrollo Pesquero INIDEP, Argentina). Se efectua una comparacion con datos obtenidos en otras campanas realizadas en la zona alrededor de las Islas Malvinas Argentina, Atlantico SO , en primavera desde 1996 hasta 2003. | Se realizó un monitoreo del plancton en el estuario de San Lorenzo en junio 2006. En los resultados se registró 128 especies del fitoplancton (método cuantitativo) y 50 especies (cualitativo). Las diatomeas más representativas fueron S. costatum, T. nitzschioides, P. longissima, L. danicus, Navicula sp., P. sulcata: T. nitzschioides. Thalassiosira sp. y flagelados (cuantitativo); S. costatum, Coscinodiscus sp., N. sigma y P. Sulcata (cualitativo). La presencia de Gymnodinium sp. P. maximun y M. rubrum podría asociarse con la formación de mareas rojas al interior del estuario. | The study on distribution and abundance of eggs and early planktonic stages of red shrimp, Pleoticus muelleri (Bate, 1888), contributes to a better knowledge of the species dynamics. Results from processing and analyzing 72 plankton samples collected with Bongo net during two research cruises on board of FV “Arbumasa XVIII” and RV “Capitán Oca Balda”, carried out in the Patagonian littoral in March 2008 and January 2009, are presented. In both cruises, eggs and larval stages were found all over the study area. | The present study was conducted to determine the parameters regulating spawning performance of P. orbignyanus wild broodstock. The adaptation to captivity was successfully achieved with minimal stress levels. In three consecutive spawning seasons, the annual photothermal manipulation was not effective for the maturation and natural spawning of females although males were running. Females were HCG injected, releasing non fertilized eggs. | El informe contiene los resultados correspondientes al desarrollo del crucero Módulo huevos y Módulo adultos del Proyecto FIP 2003-07. De conformidad con la metodología planteada en la propuesta técnica y con el fin de estimar los parámetros biológicos que requiere la aplicación del Método de Producción de Huevos, a saber: fecundidad media poblacional, frecuencia de desove, proporción sexual, producción diaria de huevos y peso estimado de hembras maduras, se realizaron los respectivos muestreos para el recurso anchoveta, durante el período de máxima actividad reproductiva del año 2003. |
