| In organic farming, the plough is generally used in maize cultivation because it provides a simple way to control weed. Unfortunately, regarding soil erosion, compaction and runoff, ploughing is especially harmful in maize cultivation. Direct sowing of maize could largely solve these problems. The video presents the technique of direct sowing of maize, for example in a field of rolled field pea. In the last years, FiBL tests have shown that under optimal conditions, the direct sowing of maize in organic farming is possible without significant yield losses. |

| This brief and practical information leaflet for blue, yellow and white lupins serves a farmer to get introduced to its cultivation. Aim is to promote the cultivation of lupins due to its beneficial effects as precrop, as it fixes nitrogen, makes phosphorus available and is high in proteins. This leaflet describes soil properties, water supply and weed pressure conditions for a successful cultivation of each lupin species. | Rapporten gjennomgår bakgrunnen for quinoadyrking historisk, botanisk og hvorfor quinoa med sine næringsstoffer har fått status som "superfood". Dernest gjennomgås forutsetninger i Norge for å lykkes med quinoadyrking. Det er gjennomført et to-årig feltforsøk for dyrking av quinoa. Sortsutvalget av quinoa er mangfoldig, men det er få som egner seg for dyrking under skandinaviske forhold og tilgjengeligheten av sorter er liten på det europeiske og nord-amerikanske frømarkedet. Feltforsøket ble gjennomført i 2015 og 2016 på Tingvoll, Møre og Romsdal. Det ble sådd åtte ulike kultivarer. Resultatene viser at god kontroll på rotugras og rikelig gjødsling er viktige faktorer for gode avlinger. Tørt vær og tidlig høsting er viktig for å unngå angrep av meldugg.... |

| Auf dem Modellbetrieb für Ökolandbau in Müncheberg wurden von 1993 bis 2013 Feldversuche zur Ermittlung der Ertragsstabilität von zwei Körnerleguminosen (Schmalblättrige Lupine und Futtererbse), Wintergetreide (Roggen und Weizen), Hafer und Silomais durchgeführt. Zwei orthogonale Datensätze wurden genutzt um die temporären Ertragsschwankungen der Einzelkulturen zu vergleichen. Beide Körnerleguminosen zeigten die geringste Ertragsstabilität von allen untersuchten Kulturen. Dies war sowohl für varianzbasierte als auch für regressionsbasierte Stabilitätsparameter der Fall. Gründe für die geringe Ertragsstabilität sind unzureichend bekannt. Es müssen Strategien für das Management entwickelt werden, um mit den großen Schwankungen umzugehen. |
