A reprodução dessa espécie ocorre via sementes.

Infoteca-e
Santin, Delmar; Wendling, Ivar; Benedetti, Eliziane Luiza; Morandi, Divercindo.

The present work aimed to evaluate the influence of different concentrations of indolbutiric acid (0, 2000, 4000, 6000 and 8000 mg L-1) in the rooting of cuttings and vigor of the produced seedlings of Sapium glandulatum. The results obtained with relationship to the rooting indicated the best results for the dose of 6000 mg L-1 of AIB, with average of 52%, demonstrating this to be the most suitable concentration for the production of seedlings of this species. It was concluded that rooting cuttings technique of Sapium glandulatum is technically viable and could be used in the production of seedlings, thus overcoming problems of shortage of seeds and low germination rate. Also, it could be an alternative for production of seedlings all the year.

Solis,Reynaldo; Cachique,Danter; Guerrero-Abad,Juan Carlos; Sánchez,María Emilia Ruiz; Tapia y Figueroa,Lourdes.
Abstract: The objective of this work was to evaluate hormonal balance in the phases of the in vitro organogenesis of apical meristems of sacha inchi (Plukenetia volubilis). For the establishment and multiplication phases, Murashige & Skoog (MS) media, with different concentrations of benzylaminopurine (BAP) and naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA), were used. For rooting, modified MS media was supplemented with different concentrations of NAA and indolebutyric acid. The differentiation of apical meristems was possible with 0.1 mg L-1 BAP and 0.05 mg L-1 NAA. The best rooting of seedlings is obtained with 0.5 mg L-1 naphthaleneacetic acid and 2.0 mg L-1 indolebutyric acid.

Grafting of Araucaria angustifolia (BERTOL.) kuntze through the four seasons of the year Rev. Bras. Frutic.
Zanette,Flávio; Oliveira,Liege da Silva; Biasi,Luiz Antonio.
Araucaria angustifolia is an endangered conifer species of South America that has been over exploited for timber. To incentivize Araucaria angustifolia planting is essential and may play a key role on the conservation of this species and the ecosystems that depend on it. Hence, techniques that allow the production of seedlings with attributes that may entice farmers to plant A. angustifolia trees are very important. Grafting may permit the selection of female trees and the production of precocious plants that will produce high quality seeds. The aim of this study was to determine the best season of the year to graft. Three-year-old seedlings were used as rootstock and orthotropic branches of young plants were used for scion collection. The technique used...

GRAPEVINE VIRUS DISEASES:ECONOMIC IMPACT AND CURRENT ADVANCES IN VIRAL PROSPECTION AND MANAGEMENT Rev. Bras. Frutic.
BASSO,MARCOS FERNANDO; FAJARDO,THOR VINÍCIUS MARTINS; SALDARELLI,PASQUALE.
ABSTRACT Grapevine (Vitis spp.) is a major vegetative propagated fruit crop with high socioeconomic importance worldwide. It is susceptible to several graft-transmitted agents that cause several diseases and substantial crop losses, reducing fruit quality and plant vigor, and shorten the longevity of vines. The vegetative propagation and frequent exchanges of propagative material among countries contribute to spread these pathogens, favoring the emergence of complex diseases. Its perennial life cycle further accelerates the mixing and introduction of several viral agents into a single plant. Currently, approximately 65 viruses belonging to different families have been reported infecting grapevines, but not all cause economically relevant diseases. The...
