| The Federal Organic Farming Scheme (FOFS) This scheme is a temporary funding source (2002 – 2007/2008) especially to support the whole organic farming sector (incl. research) in Germany. | The Danish Research Centre for Organic Farming (DARCOF) was established in 1995 as a so-called "centre without walls" where the actual research is performed in interdisciplinary collaboration between the participating research groups. The remit of DARCOF is to coordinate research for organic farming, with a view to achieving optimum benefit from the allocated resources. | The role of this big program is to incite research in human food quality and security. It has been set up jointly by the ministry of research and the ministry of agriculture for a 4 years period (1998-2002).
