| This study aims to evaluate the linear relationships between total solids (ST), fixed solids (SF), volatile solids (SV) and their electrical conductivity (CE) of influent and effluent in a biodigester used in the cassava effluent treatment. Were collected 20 samples from the input and output of a digester installed on an agribusiness in western of Paraná State. Samples were collected every two days and analyzed as parameters: electrical conductivity, total solids, volatile and fixed. The best linear relationship was obtained between CE and SF for the two collection points, which presented equation with r2 equal to 0.921 for the input and 0.694 to the output. | Macassar bean (Vigna unguiculata (L.) Walp) is no longer a culture only for family farmers and is now grown by medium and large producers in the North and Northeast regions, and also in countries of Africa and Asia, especially for its nutritional characteristics. The objective was to make a productive diagnosis of bean Macassar culture and meet some techniques used by bean producers in the municipality of Parari, Paraíba State, Brazil. The survey was conducted in 2011 with questionnaires to the 50 producers. | É importante o conhecimento das espécies de plantas daninhas de um determinado local para que se trace um manejo de controle adequado. Diante disso, o objetivo do estudo foi identificar e quantificar as principais espécies de plantas daninhas presentes no cultivo de soja localizado no município de Luís Eduardo Magalhães, Bahia, até quando a presença dessas espécies poderia interferir no controle e na produtividade da soja. As avaliações das plantas daninhas foram realizadas nos períodos de 35, 70 e 105 dias após a emergência (DAE) da cultura, onde o levantamento foi realizado com auxílio de quadro com 0,25 m². However, little research has been conducted on the production system, resulting in shortage of information about the species. | Cercospora leaf spot or Cercospora spot, caused by Cercospora beticola Sacc is the most common disease in the leaf beet cultivation. This study aimed to determine the mycelial sensitivity in vitro, measured by the IC50 (concentration for 50% inhibition of mycelial fungus growth) of three isolates of C. beticola of sugarbeet leaves obtained in Guarapuava region (PR) to the fungicide copper oxychloride shield in controlling the Cercospora spot as well as the production of cercosporin. | The head cheese can be defined as a product derived from meat and cured pork offal or not, pre-cooked; supplemented with or without meat from other species, ground, seasoned, shaped or built, cooked again or not, and cooled. It is commonly made from head meat, tongue or feet and offals such as liver and heart. The pork skin, cooking broth or gelatin are used to promote the bonding effect in the product. It is a product rich in collagen and should have a maximum of 60% moisture and at least 15% protein. The head cheese is made by-products of pork slaughter being important for the industry due to adding value to raw pork meat and offals. This work aimed to evaluate the influence of the management practices and environmental variables in the population of R. palmarum in area of seed production of Elaeis spp. in the Amazonas State, Brazil. | The present study aimed to evaluate the dimensional variation of axial tracheids along the stem of Sequoia sempervirens Endl (Lamb.). Three trees with approximately 18 years old were selected, of which six discs were removed from along the height. Of each disk, three samples were taken from the vascular cambium to the medulla. For each sample we proceeded to measure the individual characteristics of tracheids. As a procedure of analyzing the results, we applied the Tukey test at 95% probability. | The objective of this study was to evaluate the development of seedlings of ingazeiro (Inga edulis Mart.) on alternatives substrates. The work was carried out in experimental design of randomized block with four replications and the treatments consisted of the substrates: Oxisol; Oxisol + cattle manure (20%), Oxisol + cattle manure (40%), Oxisol + sawdust (20%) and Oxisol + sawdust (40%). | This study aimed to investigate the interaction between the bacteria A. brasilense and H. seropedicae associated with nitrogen fertilization, aiming to supply nitrogen for corn crop. The experimental design was randomized blocks, in 4 x 3 factorial design with four replications.
