| A melhoria das características do morango é uma forma de garantir melhor aceitação pelo mercado consumidor e melhor rendimento no processamento e industrialização. Nesse contexto, a nutrição e adubação do morangueiro são fatores importantes a serem considerados para melhorar a produtividade, conservação pós-colheita e propriedades físico-químicas do fruto. O presente trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar as características físico-químicas de frutos de duas cultivares de morangueiro, em função da adubação com diferentes doses de fertilizante potássico. | The study aimed to evaluate the influence of overcoming dormancy of seeds of biribá through chemical and mechanical method in the emergence and initial growth of seedlings. The fruits were acquired from a mother plant in Cascavel (PR). The experimental design was a completely randomized in factorial 2 x 3, with four repetition, containing 25 seeds each repetition. The first factor was constituted of scarification with sandpaper n.80 of the two sides opposite the micropyle (with and without), the second factor was the soaking for 24 h (water, GA3 in the concentration of 1000 mg L-1 and without soaking). | The soil waterlogging reduces oxygen content near the roots, affecting energy metabolism and absorption of water and nutrients. Thus, the objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of different periods of soil waterlogging on physiological characteristics of initial growth in oat plants. The treatments consisted of soil in field capacity and soil flooding for 72 and 120 hours, with six replications. To analyze the initial growth were observed the number of leaves, leaf area, leaf area ratio and leaf weight, specific leaf area, dry weight of leaf, stem and roots, length of shoot and primary root. | The present work studied evaluate the development of plants and the physical-chemical characterization of fruits of tomato hybrid Platinum, grafted and ungrafted. The design was completely randomized design with eight treatments, three replications and five plants per plot, seven rootstocks, R601, R602, R603, Guardião, Protetor, Spirit and Magnet, grafted on hybrid Platinum and their respective ungrafted plants. | In vitro cultivation of basil allows the manipulation of the concentration of certain micronutrients, commonly neglected by the micropropagation protocols. It is a plant of great economic importance for the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry, due to the components present in its essential oil. In view of the above, the objective of this study was to evaluate zinc (Zn) concentrations in the micropropagation of basil, in addition to antioxidant activity and total phenolic compounds. | The method and sowing density constitute important factors so that obtained good productivity in wheat culture. The objective this work was evaluated the effects of sowing methods (throwing and in line) and densities (160, 320 and 480 plants m-2) on the performance of the wheat cultivated in no-tillage system.
