| Ce travail a été mené à la ferme expérimentale du Complexe Horticole d’Agadir. Son objectif est d’étudier d’une part le comportement de trois variétés du haricot vert associées à une culture de courgette et d’autre part l’effet d’une fumure organique à base de farine de poisson sur le rendement de la courgette (variété ROBERTA) dans un système biologique. L’essai s’est déroulé sous serre de type delta 9. | Agrobio é um biofertilizante líquido fabricado à base de esterco bovino, água, melaço e sais minerais, que são submetidos a um processo de fermentação à temperatura ambiente por 56 dias em recipientes abertos. Este produto tem sido largamente utilizado com sucesso por agricultores orgânicos e convencionais em todo o estado do Rio de Janeiro, no controle de várias enfermidades vegetais em diferentes culturas. | Dentre os desafios do cultivo orgânico de hortaliças destaca-se o controle de plantas daninhas, devido à proibição do uso de herbicidas. Entre as invasoras, a tiririca (Cyperus rotundus L.) é de difícil controle pela sua alta competitividade. A solarização é uma alternativa para desinfestação do solo, a qual consiste em cobri-lo com plástico transparente, com bons resultados no controle da tiririca. | Weed management is reported to be a major constraint in organic agriculture. Organic growers also report a lack of information about non-chemical weed control. A series of field trials was conducted in lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) and echinacea (Echinacea purpurea (L.) Moench) crops to evaluate a range of weed control methods commonly used in organic herb and vegetable production systems. The criteria for evaluating the methods were weed growth, crop yield and cost effectiveness. These characteristics often make brassicas difficult to grow in low-input systems with limited nutrient availability, but at the same time they also make some brassica species valuable tools for reducing nitrate leaching losses and improving N management in farming systems. | O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar dosagens dos preparados em altas diluições de Natrum muriaticum e calcário de conchas sobre a incidência de tripes Thrips tabaci Lind. (Thysanoptera: Thripidae) e míldio, severidade de míldio e na produção de cebola, cultivar Epagri 362 Crioula Alto Vale, em sistema orgânico. Dois experimentos foram realizados na Estação Experimental de Ituporanga-Epagri. Mudas de cebola foram transplantadas em 21/08/2009 e a colheita realizada em 30/11/2009. | In order to assess the effectiveness of botanical plant material use in reducing cabbage aphid population (Brevicoryne brassicae), an experiment was conducted in the research command area of Ecological Service Centre at Devghat-9, Gaight, Tanahun during the winter of 2001/2002. Two levels of concentration, 1:5 and 1:10, from the fresh green leaves of Bakaino (Melia azedarach L.), were applied to the aphid population in cabbage at five and ten days intervals. | Organic farming requires cultivars or landraces that are specifically adapted to this low input cropping system. Six landraces of Greek common dry bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) and one from the neighbouring Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) were evaluated for different agronomic and physicochemical characteristics under organic conditions in the National Park of the lake Prespes, on the borders of Greece, FYROM and Albania. | Ziel ist es, durch die Ausweitung des Anbaus von Leguminosen in den unterschiedlichen Anbausystemen des ökologischen Landbaus eine ausreichende Stickstoffversorgung sicherzustellen. Dies wird durch ein Screening neuer Leguminosenarten erreicht, welche sich in die verschiedenen Fruchtfolgesysteme integrieren lassen.
