Influence de chocs thermiques et d'un traitement au chlore sur la croissance d'organismes phytoplanctoniques marins 2. Le flagellé Dunaliella tertiolecta (BUTCHER) ArchiMer
Lassus, Patrick; Maggi, Pierre.
Dunaliella tertiolecta cultures, at the beginning of their exponential multiplication stage and acclimatized at 12, 16, 20 and 24°C, undergo sudden thermic rises, or a chloration of 0.5 mg/l or a combination of both treatments. As a result, the development of this flagellate is hardly affected by these thermic shocks since the maximal tested conditions (thermic rise of 17°C from an initial temperature of 24°C) only result in a very short growth delay. On the contrary, a chloration of 0.5 mg/l results in important delays in the development, with a total inhibition when a thermic shock also occurs. In this study, we continue our research on the effect of the transit of sea water in nuclear plant condensers on marine phytoplankton This aspect has already...

Hydrologie et distribution de dinophysis en juin 1988, dans la frange côtière nord-Gascogne ArchiMer
Lassus, Patrick; Truquet, Philippe; Le Dean, Loic; Bardouil, Michele.
During the oceanographic cruise of June 1988, phytoplankton and correlated hydrological parameters were studied in the coastal area between Camaret and Ile d'Oléron. 62 stations were sampled in the 0-30 m layer within the 50 m depth limited coastal area. Observations focused on two toxic dinoflagellate species: Dinophysis spp and Gyrodinium aureolum. Dinophysis spp is more abundant in the Loire/Vilaine area, which is.characterized by high surface Nitrate levels, high 30 m depth Phosphate levels and Chlorophyll a amounts higher than elsewhere during the survey. This particuliar pattern can be related to the Nutrient outputs of Loire and Vilaine Rivers. Max. Dinophysis concentrations were observed in Vilaine bay (very high Phosphate levels) and in Douarnenez...

Toxicité des hydrocarbures solubles de "GINO" ArchiMer
Lassus, Patrick; Michel, Pierre; Maggi, Pierre.
