MEDICIONES LINEALES EN LA HOJA PARA LA ESTIMACIÓN NO DESTRUCTIVA DEL ÁREA FOLIAR EN VIDES cv. CHARDONNAY Agricultura Técnica

La medición simple de variables que permitan medir el área foliar en vides (Vitis vinifera L.) forma práctica bajo condiciones de campo, es necesaria para establecer su relación con el crecimiento y producción. En la temporada 1993/94 en el área de Cauquenes, Chile (35º57´ S, 72º19´W) se realizó un ensayo para determinar las variables que mejor estimaran el área foliar, en hojas de brotes y feminelas, en vides cv. Chardonnay. Los productos de largo máximo (LM) x ancho máximo (AM) para hojas de brotes y de largo entre el mucrón y el punto peciolar (LP) x ancho máximo (AM) para hojas de feminelas presentaron los mejores indicadores de relación matemática.

Acumulación de compuestos nitrogenados en relación al problema de baya blanda en uva de mesa Agricultura Técnica

Con el objeto de evaluar la probable incidencia de trastornos del metabolismo del N en el problema denominado "baya blanda" de la vid (Vitis vinifera L.), a inicio de la cosecha 2002 se recolectaron muestras de bayas y raquis de racimos procedentes de un parronal Vitis vinifera L. cv. Thompson Seedless de la VI Región, Chile (34º15’ lat. Sur, 72º25’ long. Oeste) con presencia de bayas "blandas", "intermedias" y "firmes". Los análisis indicaron que las bayas incluidas en las categorías blanda y/o intermedia presentaron una concentración mayor de N en la pulpa y en la piel, mayores niveles de arginina y de putrescina. Desde 2001 se observan en viñedos de Córdoba, Argentina, hojas de Vitis vinifera y V. labrusca con manchas cloróticas y centro necrótico. Las plantas presentan nervaduras, pecíolos, raquis y entrenudos con puntos necróticos que al confluir agrietan el tejido cortical. Las bayas pueden marchitarse y desprenderse. En invierno los sarmientos toman color blanquecino con manchas negras, y en ellos y en órganos secos aparecen picnidios con cirros blanco-crema con conidios alfa y beta. La comparación entre sistemas micrometeorológicos permite analizar la confiabilidad de los resultados y evaluar su ajuste a diferentes cultivos. En el presente estudio se midió la evapotranspiración (ET) de una cubierta de viña (Vitis vinifera) en espaldera, durante su ciclo de crecimiento anual, mediante los métodos micrometeorológicos razón de Bowen (BREB) y covarianza de torbellinos (EC). Argentinean Vitis vinifera cultivars although originated from Europe, have clear ampelographic and genotypic differences as compared with the European cultivars currently used in wine making. In vitro evaluation of salt tolerance has been used in many species. Our hypothesis was that Argentinean cultivars are more tolerant to salinity than European ones. The performance of Syrah grapevine under protected cultivation with different plastic films was evaluated during 2012 and 2013 seasons in South of Minas Gerais State. Agronomical and physiological measurements were done on eight years old grapevines, grafted onto ‘1103 Paulsen’ rootstock cultivated under uncovered conditions, covered with transparent and with diffuse plastic films. Both plastic covers induced the highest shoot growth rate and specific leaf area. The diffuse plastic induced greater differences on leaf area, pruning weight and leaf chlorophyll content as compared to uncovered vines. Remote sensing has been used to estimate leaf area by means of vegetation indices. A mosca-das-frutas sul-americana, Anastrepha fraterculus (Wiedemann) (Diptera: Tephritidae), é uma das principais pragas da fruticultura no Brasil. O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar a suscetibilidade quanto à queda e deformação de bagas de diferentes cultivares/espécies de uva pela injúria causada pela oviposição de A. fraterculus. Cabernet Sauvignon located in the commune of Cauquenes, Maule Region in Chile, was estimated from digital images obtained with a commercial camera using two indirect methods: Leaf Area Gap and Brightness (LAGB) and -Photogrammetric Leaf Area Quantification System (PLAQS). Early light induced proteins (ELIP) are a type of proteins which are expressed before than other chloroplast proteins in the presence of light. These proteins have been studied in a large number of annual species such as pea (Pisum sativum L.), barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) and Arabidopsis sp. In perennials plants the studies about ELIPs are very scarce. The possible photoprotective function of the ELIPs has motivated the interest in investigating the presence of this type of proteins in a perennial plant such as grapevine (Vitis vinifera L.) and if their characteristics differ from those found in annual plants.
