| The main aim of this study was to estimate phenotypic correlations among live weight, withers height, rump height, chest depth, chest width, thoracic girth, body length, hip widths (between iliac tuberosities and between ischial tuberosities) and forelimb cannon perimeter with antler length measured during the growth of marals on a Kazakh farm. The data comprised 18 animals studied during their growth (at 18 months and at 24 months). In maral, the first period of antler productivity takes place at the age of 24 months. This fact should be taken into account in order to select the best animals for antler production, which is the main purpose for farming this species. |

| the aim of this study was to conduct a literature review of impacts of protein malnutrition and/or early food deprivation on the formation of the growth plate in young animals. A search was performed using the databases PubMed/MEDLINE, LILACS, SciELO and the Cochrane Library, without language restrictions or any limit as to year. Initially, 150 articles were identified, however, after application of the inclusion and exclusion criteria only five remained. | El presente trabajo sobre la rotación entre la columna cervical y la cabeza en el ser humano tiene como objetivo estandarizar los grados de rotación cérvico capital, tanto a la derecha como a la izquierda, en una muestra aleatoria obtenida de individuos de ambos géneros en el Departamento de Caldas (Colombia), estratificados de acuerdo a su ciclo vital a partir de los tres años de edad y que no presentaban ninguna alteración en los movimientos propios de la región antes mencionada. | Este artículo presenta un análisis desde el punto de vista bibliográfico de marcadores y biomarcadores de la enfermedad de Alzheimer (EA). Las metodologías usadas fueron los marcadores de imágenes (Resonancia Magnética y Tomografía por emisión de positrones) y biomarcadores de la proteína BA42, de la proteína Tau y de la Apoliproteína E (ALPE). De esta manera, son de importancia los niveles de BA42 disminuidos, la Tau incrementada, los polimorfismos de ALPE y las alteraciones constatadas en los marcadores de imagen, como factores de riesgo esenciales para el desarrollo de la EA. Se realiza una revisión de la literatura con respecto a los hallazgos clínicos de esta enfermedad. |

| The objective of this study was to evaluate the histopathologic and immunohistochemical effects of propineb on rat nasal mucosa. Twenty adult Sprague-Dawley rats weighing 180220 g, were used as experimental animals. The rats were divided into propineb and control groups. | In one male cadaver of Colombian nationality, dissected by a group of medical students during a gross anatomy course at the Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia, three anatomical variations were found: an anomalous or aberrant right subclavian artery (ARSA), a non-recurrent inferior laryngeal nerve and a right thoracic duct.
