A key to the genera of the subtribe Monoctonina Mackauer, 1961 s.s. and keys to the species of the genus Harkeria Cameron, 1900 and the European species of the genus Monoctonus Haliday, 1833 are given. Two new species of Monoctonus are described from The Netherlands. The subgenus Paramonoctonus Starý, 1959 is synonymized with the subgenus Harkeria Cameron. A generic diagnosis is given for each of the genera Harkeria, Monoctonus and Quadrictonus Starý & Remaudière, 1982.

The genera and species of the subfamily Rogadinae Foerster, 1862 sensu stricto from China are revised. A key to the Chinese genera is given and all genera, including three genera new to science and four new to China, are described and illustrated. Keys to the Chinese species of Rogadinae are provided. The genus Microtypus Ratzeburg, 1848 (Braconidae: Microtypinae) is revised, its species are keyed, and a new species, M. petiolatus van Achterberg spec. nov. is described. The type species is redescribed and fully illustrated. The genus Similearinus Glowacki & Karpinski, 1967 is a new junior synonym of Microtypus; S. ilinskyi Glowacki & Karpiński, 1967 is a new junior synonym of Microtypus trigonus (Nees, 1834), and M. dioryctriae Rohwer, 1920 of M. wesmaelii Ratzeburg, 1848. A review of the known specimens of the tribe Cosmophorini Capek, 1958, from the Palaeotropics is given. Twenty-two species new to science are described and figured in this paper. Up to recently (Shaw, 1985; Chen & van Achterberg, 1997) the tribe was unknown from outside of the Holarctic region. Five Oriental species are included into Sinuatophorus van Achterberg, gen. nov. (type species: Sinuatophorus maximus van Achterberg, spec. nov. from Indonesia). Plesiocoelus van Achterberg is a rare genus of the subfamily Agathidinae (Braconidae). The genus was established by van Achterberg in 1990 with one Neotropical species included, Plesiocoelus bassiformis van Achterberg, 1990. Based on specimens deposited at the Institute of Ecology & Biological Resources (IEBR) and Vietnam National Museum of Nature (VNMN), the genus Plesiocoelus van Achterberg is newly recorded from Vietnam with a new species, Plesiocoelus vietnamicus Long & van Achterberg, sp. n. described and illustrated in this paper. Differences between the new species and P. bassiformis van Achterberg, are given.
