| Az ültetvények védelmének alapja az ellenálló fajták választása, illetve célzott termesztési és ápolási műveletek alkalmazása. Ez egyszerűnek hangzik, de a gyakorlati megvalósítás mégis nagy kihívást jelent gyakorlott kertészek számára is. Kiadványunk célja, hogy áttekinthetően és gyakorlatiasan mutassa be azokat a lehetőségeket és termesztési fogásokat, amelyek segítségével ökológiai almatermésű ültetvényben minőségi és egészséges gyümölcsöt állíthatunk elő. |

| Le mildiou de la laitue (Bremia lactucae) est la maladie la plus redoutée sur cette espèce, notamment en culture biologique d’hiver sous abris. En Provence, les dégâts sont très importants, parfois dès la pépinière, et entraînent de fortes pertes financières. Cette situation est due à deux facteurs principaux : d’une part au contournement récurrent des résistances génétiques par de nouvelles souches de Bremia (26 races déterminées à ce jour), et d’autre part à la faiblesse des méthodes de lutte biologique possibles contre ce champignon (notamment la faible efficacité des traitements à base de cuivre). | 1. Feldversuche Die Winterweizensorten Arina und Capo wurden im Versuchsjahr 2002/2003 auf insgesamt 12 Standorten im Ökologischen Anbau als Reinbestände und als Sortenmischung angebaut. Das Versuchsjahr war extrem trocken, weshalb kein relevanter Krankheitsbefall zu verzeichnen war. Die Erträge variierten je nach Standort von 26 bis 53 dt/ha wobei Capo deutlich ertragsstärker war als Arina. Die Mischung brachte im Schnitt 3% mehr Ertrag als erwartet und war im Ertrag deutlich stabiler. Dies war auf die stärkere Konkurrenzkraft der Sorte Capo an fast allen Standorten zurückzuführen. | Damit ein Pflanzenschutzprodukt im Biolandbau verwendet werden darf, müssen verschiedene Anforderungen erfüllt werden: 1. Zulassung als Pflanzenschutzmittel auf nationaler Ebene. 2. Zulassung des Wirkstoffes auf Ebene Biorichtlinien (Bioverordnung und Annex II der EU Richtlinie 2092/91). 3. Zulassung des Wirkstoffes auf privatrechtlicher Ebene, national bei Bio-Suisse, international bei IFOAM (International Federation of Organic Agriculutural Movements). 4. Zulassung auf Ebene Handelsprodukt. In jedem Jahr werden sämtliche Pflanzenschutzprodukte, die im Biolandbau verwendet werden dürfen, in der FiBL Hilfsstoffliste aufgeführt. Die Labelinhaber Bio-Suisse und Migros-Bio entscheiden alljährlich über die Aufnahme von Produkten und Wirkstoffkategorien. |

| Venturia inaequalis causes apple scab. The control of the disease in organic apple production depends on the use of copper which will be restricted in future for environmental reasons. In the search for environmental friendly microbial biocontrol agents and stimulation of antagonistic populations in situ the molecular technique of DGGE fingerprinting can is applied. This fingerprinting technique allows to bypass culturing techniques and even can identify not yet culturable organisms. | Das Projekt EU-ORWINE befasst sich mit der Entwicklung umwelt- und verbraucherfreundlicher Herstellungsverfahren und rechtlicher Grundlagen. Der biologische Weinbau ist ein bedeutender Zweig der biologischen Landwirtschaft. Dennoch fehlen bislang in der EU Verordnung 2092/91, welche die rechtliche Grundlage des biologischen Landbaus darstellt, Richtlinien für die biologische Weinherstellung und für eine entsprechende Kennzeichnung von biologisch erzeugtem Wein. | Background and aims of the project ThermoSeed™ is a new cost-effective treatment concept developed by Acanova AB that permits environmentally friendly sanitation of seed from seed-borne diseases using hot, humid air. SvL, the Swedish Farmers Supply and Crop Marketing Association, has been granted financiation from the EU-Life environment programme (under “Clean Technologies”) in order to introduce the ThermoSeed™ concept on full scale on the seed treatment market together with Acanova. | Different strawberry varieties, available from organic propagation at that time were, planted in August 2004 and proofed about their suitability for organic cultivation, each variety was tested with and without biodegradable mulch film. Within the early ripening strawberry varieties ‘Clery’ had a middle yield and was susceptible for infections with leaf spot, losses of plants by Verticillium were seldom. Problemerne varierer lidt, men både sortsvalg, ukrudtsbekæmpelse og plantesystemer er fælles udfordringer. Konferencen ”Organic Fruit 2012” blev afholdt i staten Washington i USA i juni, og der blev fremlagt mange spændende forsøgsresultater. | The effects of a fogging system on the control of the two-spotted spider mite (Tetranychus urticae) were studied in greenhouse cultivation of eggplant, cucumber and strawberry during the period 1999-2006. At the beginning the pest and the phytoseiid predator Phytoseiulus persimilis were released on the crops and then observations were made on the development of the populations of both mites. Fogging system effects were found in terms of lowering the T. urticae population and hindering the growth of powdery mildew fungus.
