生育中のナガイモの粘弾性の変化 OAK

The change in the viscoelasticity of the Chinese yam during growth was investigated from mid-August to late November, 1988 in the Tokachi district of Japan. The Chinese yam had peak viscoelasticity around October 24. Its viscosity was correlated with the insoluble solid content, whereas its rigidity was associated with the mucilage content. Viscosity and rigidity values of Chinese yam during maturation reached maximum when the soil temperature at 40 cm decreased to around 11 centigrade.

大規模畑作地帯におけるトラクタ作業機のうね合わせ作業の現状 OAK

本報はうね自動追従システムの開発のための基 本研究として畑作のトラクタ作業者の作業状態と うね合わせ作業精度を明らかにし,自動追従シス テムに要求される制御速度を検討し,以下のこと が明らかになった。 1)作業者の後方確認時間割合は播種・移植作業 の場合10~16%であるのに対し,中耕除草作業 では16~27%と高くなった。 2)うね合わせの作業精度は,播種・移植作業の場 合,隣接行程のうね問の変動は,最大7.5~11.5 cmであり,その後の中耕除草作業への影響が懸 念される。一方,中耕除草作業の場合では,その 最大変動は8.2cmに達し,作物に機械的な損傷 を与えることが観察された。 3)うね間の周期性から求めたうね自動追従システ ムに要求される制御速度は,トラクタの作業速度 を2m/sに想定すると,播種・移植作業では最大 6.6cm/sであり,中耕除草作業の場合は,10cm/s 必要であると推定された。 This study was to examine farmer's working conditions and the accuracy of tractor imple- ments in following rows in a field, and to consider the most appropriate control speed of such implements as preliminary research for the development of an automatic guidance system. 1)In the case of seeding and transplanting, 10 to 16 percent of farmers' work...

1,2-ジメチルヒドラジン投与マウスにおける大腸腺腫発症に与える食餌性ナガイモの効果 OAK

ナガイモのガンに対する機能性を探索する目的で, 1,2- ジメチルヒドラジン投与マウスにおける大腸腺腫(ACF) 発症に与える食餌性ナガイモ粉末の効果を検証した.ナガ イモ粉末をAIN-93G標準飼料のコーンスターチ部分に 100%または50%置き換えて投与したところ,大腸腺腫の 発症が有意に抑制されたまた,加熱および非加熱の生ナ ガイモ粉末ともに同様の効果が認められた. DNAマイク ロアレイを用いて大腸での遺伝子の異同を調べたところ, ナガイモ投与群ではアポ卜ーシスを誘導する遺伝子群の増加が認められた.To clarify the physiological effects of dietary Chinese yam (Nagaimo) on colon cancer in vivo, the effects of dietary Nagaimo on 1,2-dimethylhydrazine (DMH)-induced aberrant crypt foci (ACF) formation in the large intestine of mice were investigated. 大腸腺腫発症モデルマウスにおける食餌性ナガイモおよびナガイモ入り青汁の効果 OAK

食餌性ナガイモの大腸腺腫発症に与える効果を他のイモ類と比較しつつ,1,2-ジメチルヒドラジン投与マウスを用いて調べるとともに,ナガイモを利用した商品モデル(ナガイモ入り青汁)の効果についても検証した.その結果,ナガイモ以外のイモ類においても上記の実験動物モデルにおいて大腸腺腫抑制効果が観察されたが,腺腫数の平均はナガイモ群が一番低かった.また,商品モデルであるナガイモ入り青汁ついても腺腫抑制効果が観察された.The dietary effects of Chinese yam,nagaimo (Dioscorea opposita Thunb.),on 1,2-dimethylhydrazine (DMH)-induced aberrant crypt foci (ACF) formation in the large intestine of mice were investigated and compared with those of other potato species. Potato consumption was found to significantly suppress ACF formation in the large intestines of all mice treated with DMH. Suppression of ACF formation was most remarkable in the nagaimo group. Moreover, the commercial product (aojiru) containing nagaimo powder also suppressed ACF formation.
