Climate change may affect rice-growing environments and disease epidemics. Therefore, the experiment was conducted at Pathumthani Rice Research Center during 2011–2013 to study the effect of climate change on rice diseases occurrence. Two rice varieties, RD31 and PSL 2 were planted every month throughout the year. Disease incidence was randomly surveyed on the rice plot at least once a month, and the metrological data including temperature, relative humidity and rainfall were collected. Base on 3 years of metrological data, the average annual temperature and relative humidity were increased while the total rainfall was decreased. Rainy day was approximately 6 month from May to October. The disease found every year in both varieties was bacterial leaf... |
