Nellore and half- blood yearling bovines were analyzed in four different treatments to evaluate the benefit of methionine and biosurfactante utilization. The treatments used were: NCMPB - Nellore animals receiving diet containing methionine and biosurfactante; NSMPB – Nellore animals in the control group receiving diet without methionine and biosurfactante; MCMPB – Half- blood animals receiving diet containing methionine and biosurfactante and MSMPB – Half- blood animals in the control group receiving diet without methionine and biosurfactante. It were evaluated the dry mater intake and the residual percentage of ethereal extract in the feces and the carcass weight after slaughter.
