Este trabalho objetivou realizar uma análise comparativa das estratégias genéricas adotadas por supermercados de diferentes portes (pequenos e médios), especificamente tratando do setor de hortifrutigranjeiros dos mesmos. Visando alcançar este objetivo, este estudo adotou pesquisa de cunho qualitativo, onde foram utilizados os métodos de estudo de caso e análise de conteúdo, para coleta e análise dos dados, respectivamente. The perception of the organizational members of the Sebrae/MS situated in Campo Grande, MS, about the ISO 9000 Certification implanted in 1998 and the organizational learning were the aims of this study. The authors have sought to provide a link of the certification as a stimulating factor for organizational learning. Aiming to identify how marketing tools influence the coffee consumer’s purchasing behavior, a piece of marketing research with exploratory and descriptive analyses, of qualitative nature was accomplished. The survey was used, with structured questionnaires applied to 800 consumers (São Paulo, Belo Horizonte and Rio de Janeiro) in hypermarkets from July to December 2001. The questionnaires were tabulated and analyzed by utilizing the SSPS software (v.10) with descriptive and multivariate statistic analyses. The objective of the work was to identify and characterize the agribusiness companies concerning the use of the theory of capital structure for its financial activity. The capital structure is one of great importance, involving both investments and financings (both the capital of external parties' and their own). The purpose of this paper is to identify the attributes of beef that affect the buying decisions of the consumers of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. A descriptive survey was conducted with quantitative variables, with a total of 400 interviews at the point of retail purchase, using structured questionnaires with multiple-choice questions only. It was possible to verify that the attributes considered most important by the consumers regarding the beef were: hygiene, smell, appearance, additive-free, healthy appearance, freshness, flavor, tenderness, color, and nutritional value. The aim of this survey was to analyze the marketing strategies adopted by the coffee agribusiness chain in the south and Cerrado regions of Minas Gerais, in an attempt to put forward actions which may come to increase the consumption of coffee in the local market. As for methodology, qualitative techniques were used such as document analyses and detailed personal surveys with representatives of the several agents in the coffee chain. O objetivo da presente pesquisa foi identificar as potencialidades e dificuldades para a produção e comercialização de carne de ovinos na Região Metropolitana de Belo Horizonte-MG. Quanto à metodologia, a pesquisa classifica-se como de natureza qualitativa e exploratória, além de bibliográfica e de campo. Os dados foram coletados por meio da entrevista pessoal com criadores e um representante da Cooperativa Procordeiro e, além disso, por meio de um questionário estruturado aplicado aos representantes de supermercados e restaurantes.
