This review aims to perform a survey of the main floral resources available to social, semi-social or solitary bees from the Caatinga biome, focusing on botanical species most commonly found in tree, shrub, sub-shrub, herbaceous, as well as climber species. The floral rewards offered to Brazilian semiarid bees are mainly pollen, nectar, perfumes, nesting sites, resins and oils. The difficulty found for the maintenance of beekeeping activities, due mainly to the harsh environment to which the bees are inserted, can be mitigated through management practices coupled with the diversification of apiculture pasture.
