The objective of this work was to study the Sunflower growth "Night Sun" in different organic substrates and under different water volumes. The experimental design was randomized blocks in factorial 3x3x5, with three water supply: A1 (50% = 100 ml), A2 (75% = 300 ml), A3 (100% = 400 ml); combined with three types of organic substrates: S1 (33% soil + 33% + 33% cattle manure earthworm castings), S2 (50% soil + 50% earthworm castings), S3 (50% soil + 50% manure) with five replications with three plants per replication. It was observed that there was no significant effect of the volumes of water (A) on the variable plant height (PH). The type of substrate S1 differed from substrate S3, but both did not differered of substrate S2. It is observed that from 33...

Helianthus annuus L. production using organic fertilization with manipueira Sci. Agrar.Paran. / SAP
Ferreira, Thiago Costa; Aires Souza, José Thyago; de Farias, Alexandra Leite; Cruz, Marcelo Pereira; Cunha, Ana Lucia Araújo; Costa Oliveira, Suenildo Jósemo.
Sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) is an annual plant native to the Americas. Is a grain-producing species with a high oil content, which can be used as a source of biodiesel as well as fodder. The cassava is a liquid derived from the cassava flour production. This organic waste can be used in agriculture due to its high content of nutrients such as, K, N, P, Ca, Mg and S and also avoiding harm the environment. The objective of this study was to evaluate the productivity of sunflower using organic fertilization with cassava. The experiment was conducted under field conditions at Lagoa Seca, PB State, and were analyzed the total production (PS), dry mass of the inflorescence (FCA), dry mass of seeds and inflorescence (FSC) and total dry biomass (FT). The...

Macassar bean (Vigna unguiculata (L.) Walp) is no longer a culture only for family farmers and is now grown by medium and large producers in the North and Northeast regions, and also in countries of Africa and Asia, especially for its nutritional characteristics. The objective was to make a productive diagnosis of bean Macassar culture and meet some techniques used by bean producers in the municipality of Parari, Paraíba State, Brazil. The survey was conducted in 2011 with questionnaires to the 50 producers. It was found that most farmers, 45% has an area of 2 hectares for common bean cultivation, as follows: 55% of farmers get their seeds with property of neighbors, while 45% of them cultivate this legume in clay soils. Almost 85% use the bean as...
