New records of terricolous microlichens from southeast Greenland Naturalis
Daniëls, F.J.A.; Sipman, H.J.M.; Hansen, E.S..
Twelve species of terricolous microlichens from the Angmagssalik District, Southeast Greenland, are reported: Caloplaca friesii, C. livida, Lecanora boligera, Lecidea oligotropha and Leciophysma arctophila, which are new to the lichen flora of Greenland, Rinodina conradi, which is new to the eastcoast, and Baeomyces roseus, B. rufus, Buellia geophila, B. punctata, Caloplaca tornoensis and Mycoblastus tornoensis, new to Southeast Greenland. In a discussion of the greenlandic distribution, unpublished records from the herbarium of Copenhagen (C) are incorporated. Notes on the habitats are given and the pertinent phytosociological units indicated. Some morphological and anatomical characters are commented upon briefly.

Vegetation of the Angmagssalik Districk Southeast Greenland. III. Epilithic macrolichen communities Naturalis
Daniëls, F.J.A..
The epilithic macrolichen vegetation in the Angmagssalik District was studied in connection with phytosociological investigations. Based upon 32 vegetation analyses 5 vegetation units are distinguished according to the concepts of the French-Swiss School of Phytosociology: 1. the Alectoria pubescens sociation soc. nov., 2. the Umbilicarietum cylindricae, 3. the Parmelietum omphalodis sphaerophoretosum fragilis subass. nov., 4. the Umbilicarietum arcticae and 5. the community of Xanthoria elegans. Although the substrate in this case is not such an important ecological factor, a distinct relation with the habitat could be proved. Studies of the literature showed that phytosociological knowledge of epilithic lichens in Greenland and in other arctic and...

Lichens collected during a Dutch botanical East Greenland expedition to the Angmagssalik area in 1966 Naturalis
Daniëls, F.J.A..
In the summer of 1966 three students, bachelors in botany, of the State University of Utrecht, Netherlands, made botanical investigations in the Angmagssalik area (65° N.lat.-67°20' N. lat.) in South-east Greenland. The main purpose was to carry out floristical and ecological investigations, while special attention was paid to the altitudinal belts in the vegetation on mountain slopes. The fieldwork will be continued in 1968. From the botanical collection the lichens were identified by the author and are listed here, except some critical species of which the determinations have not been finished yet. The number of samples collected amounts to ca. 300, most of them taken from vegetation analyses. All samples will be incorporated in the Herbarium of the...
