| ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to evaluate the productive and chemical characteristics of Marandu grass fertilized with poultry manure with or without the use of soil chiseling, during a period of 210 days. The experiment was conducted in a Dark-Red Latosol (Haplustox) of sandy texture, in a randomized block design with 4 replicates, in a 6 x 2 factorial scheme (0, 1.037, 2.074, 4.148, 6.222 t ha-1 of poultry manure and an additional treatment with chemical fertilizer based on 2.074 t ha-1, with and without soil chiseling). | Este estudo foi realizado com o objetivo de avaliar a aplicação de doses crescentes (0, 10, 21 e 84 Mg de MS ha-1) de resíduo ruminal bovino (RRB) seco (90,00% MS) ou úmido (7,16% MS) com teor de nitrogênio (N) de 1,43% na MS estimando-se que apenas 33% de N do RRB seriam disponibilizados para atender à exigência da Urochloa brizantha cv. | Para se de identificar a variabilidade espacial da textura e da densidade de partículas em um solo hidromórfico, realizou-se uma amostragem sistemática ao longo de uma transeção de 100 m de comprimento, paralela a um curso d'água, com espaçamentos entre pontos variando de 0,25 a 20 m, totalizando 51 pontos amostrais. Utilizaram-se os métodos da estatística clássica e da geoestatística na identificação do tamanho e da estrutura da variabilidade. A percentagem de areia apresentou coeficiente de variação de 48,95%, caracterizando alta variabilidade. | ABSTRACT Poultry manure and mechanical management may influence the distribution of nutrients in the soil profile. The objective was to evaluate physical and chemical changes in a soil with palisade grass ( Brachiaria brizantha cv. Marandu) fertilized with doses of poultry manure with and without use of soil chiseling, after 180 days of application.
