Irrigation and fertigation frequencies with nitrogen in the watermelon culture Bragantia
Fernandes,Carlos Newdmar Vieira; Azevedo,Benito Moreira de; Nascimento Neto,Joaquim Raimundo; Viana,Thales Vinícius de Araújo; Sousa,Geocleber Gomes de.
This study evaluates the influence of different irrigation frequencies and different nitrogen fertigation frequencies on the growth performance of the watermelon (Citrullus lanatus) culture. Two experiments were conducted at the Paraguay farm in the Cruz municipality, Ceará, Brazil. They was randomized blocks design with six treatments and four replications. The irrigation frequency experiment consisted of the application of different irrigation frequencies. The treatments were: DM - daily irrigation in the morning with 100% daily dosage; DT - daily irrigation in the afternoon, with 100% daily dosage; DMT - twice daily irrigation, with 50% daily dosage in the morning and 50% daily dosage in the afternoon; 2D - irrigation every two days; 3D - irrigation...

Growth, gas exchange and yield of peanut in frequency of irrigation Rev. Ciênc. Agron.
Sousa,Geocleber Gomes de; Azevedo,Benito Moreira de; Fernandes,Carlos Newdmar Vieira; Viana,Thales Vinicius de Araújo; Silva,Maria Lilian Santos.
This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of different irrigation frequencies on growth, gas exchange and yield of the peanut (Arachis ypogea L). The experiment was conducted in the field using the experimental design of randomized blocks with five treatments, five replications with four plants per plot. The treatments were composed: F2 = (irrigation every 2 days), F4 = (irrigation every 4 days), F6 = (irrigation every 6 days), F8 = (irrigation every 2 days) and F10 = (irrigation every 10 days). At 60 days after sowing (DAS), the gas exchange variables (photosynthesis, stomatal conductance and transpiration) and growth variables (plant height, leaf number, stem diameter and shoot dry matter) were evaluated. The highest irrigation frequency tested...
