This work aimed at studying the effects of different sources and cytokinin concentrations, as well as explants orientation and time of their permanence in shoots induction medium to obtain high multiplication rate. Four experiments were carried out to evaluate the sprout percentage mean, shoots number per explant, elongated shoots percentage and shoots length. The treatments with 2iP and zeatin did not promote in vitro plant multiplication. When different BAP concentrations were tested, an increase in sprout percentage was obtained using BAP concentration up to 3.66 mg L-1 (80%), and for shoots number per explant a linear behavior was observed, showing a mean of four shoots per explant with 4.0 mg L-1 BAP. RESUMO: O objetivo do trabalho foi avaliar o efeito da produção e qualidade dos frutos de cultivares de amoreiras-pretas conduzidas em diferentes sistemas de condução. O delineamento experimental adotado foi o de blocos casualizados em parcelas subdivididas, em um fatorial 3x3. Utilizaram-se as cultivares 'Tupy', 'Guarani' e 'Xavante' e os sistemas de condução: sem tutor, espaldeira em "T" e espaldeira em fios paralelos. Avaliou-se a produção de frutas, o número médio de frutas, a massa média de frutas por planta nas safras de 2009/2010, 2010/2011 e 2011/2012. Abstract: The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of nitrogen fertilization on the mineral composition of leaves, initial growth, and yield of peach (Prunus persica) tree advanced selections grown at a high-planting density. The experiment was carried out between 2012 and 2015 in a randomized complete block design, with a combination of advanced selections of the 'Cascata 1513' and 'Cascata 1067' peach trees and of N fertilization doses (0, 30, 60, and 120 kg ha-1 N). Abstract In cultivation of peaches, thinning is conventionally performed on fruits by hand, and needs to be done in a short time and with specialized labor, which increases the operational costs of this practice. Mechanical thinning can be an alternative to manual fruit thinning. Thus, the objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of mechanical flower thinning with different equipment in advanced peach orchard. Este trabalho foi realizado com o objetivo de avaliar o potencial de multiplicação in vitro de sete cultivares de amoreira-preta: Brazos, Cherokee, Comanche, Ébano, Guarani, Tupy e Xavante. Utilizou-se protocolo da Embrapa Clima Temperado empregado em laboratórios comerciais. A desinfestação dos explantes foi realizada em soluções à base de álcool e hipoclorito de sódio; a cultura dos meristemas em meio semi-sólido MS com 1 mg L-1 BAP, 0,01 mg L-1 ANA e 0,1 mg L-1 AG3; a multiplicação em MS com 0,8 mg L-1 BAP; e o enraizamento em ½MS com 0,5 mg L-1 ANA, sempre a 25±4ºC, 20 µE m-2 s-1, e fotoperíodo de 16 horas.
