| Der ökologische Zwiebelanbau wird in Süddeutschland aktuell in Form von zwei Anbauverfahren praktiziert. Auf Standorten mit geringem Infektionsdruck durch Falschen Mehltau und einer ausreichenden Wasserversorgung herrscht der Säzwiebelanbau vor. Die Wirtschaftlichkeit des Anbaus wird bei diesem Verfahren durch den Falschen Mehltau und die hohen Kosten für die Unkrautregulierung begrenzt. Der Anbau von Steckzwiebeln wird vor allem auf Standorten mit höherem Infektionsdruck durch Falschen Mehltau und unsicherer Wasserversorgung praktiziert. In den letzten drei Jahren waren bei diesem Anbauverfahren aufgrund von Fusariosen auf einem Großteil der bayrischen Anbauflächen Ertragsausfälle von bis zu 50% und schlechte Qualitäten zu beklagen. | In field experiments in five Bavarian farms three cultivation systems of onion produc-tion were compared: direct sowing, planting of set onions and planting of seedlings with 7 seeds per each tray. In three of five farms the onions yield up to more than 500 dt ha-1and in average the planted seedling yielded higher than the sown ones. In the other farms, where the set onions where included in the trials, the yields were lower depending on the high and early infection with downy mildew. The plant density (90-70 plant m-2) had more effect on the onion size distribution than on the total yield. |
