Última Unilateral Variation in the Origin of the Inferior Alveolar and Buccal Arteries: A Case Report International Journal of Morphology Velasco,I; Soto,R; García,R; Sepúlveda,G. The maxillary artery (MA) is one of the terminal branches of the external carotid artery (ECA) and is located in the infratemporal fossa (IF). Some of the branches in this region are the inferior alveolar artery (IAA) and the buccal artery (BA), both descending branches. Here, we report an unusual unilateral origin of the IAA and the BA from a common trunk directly from the ECA. We conducted a routine dissection of both IF in a 54-year-old hispanic male cadaver. Este estudio presenta los resultados obtenidos para evaluar la respuesta al estrés por calor en un rebaño de 100 vacas Criollo Lechero Tropical (CLT), mantenido bajo un sistema de doble propósito por más de 40 años, en el trópico de México. Se analizó además, el comportamiento de indicadores del clima; temperatura ambiente (TA, ºC ) y humedad relativa (HR, %) en la región de estudio, durante los 2 años y los 40 años previos. Se consideraron como respuestas fisiológicas al estrés la temperatura rectal (TR) (ºC) y la frecuencia respiratoria (FR) (rpm). El clima de la región mostró una gran estabilidad entre los años de estudio y los 40 previos, así como una clara estacionalidad entre las épocas secas y de lluvias, con un índice de temperatura y humedad (ITH)...
